I have an 1.1 and both sides of the board are soldered correctly. On the first side though, I messed up a bit.

The first pic here: http://xbox-scene.com/articles/tsop.php shows r7d3 and right underneath it is a litlle connector(resistor?). now, every time I eject the DVD drive the xbox resets, and I'm almost positive it's whats keeping me from flashing the tsop in evox.

. I also accidentally soldered a little hole in the xbox board in the front where I was supposed to solder the jumper. The jumpers are connected, but I think the hole is too deep and it may be cut off from the rest of the mobo. If that is the case could I solder a couple of wires back to the traces?

That's what Xboxes do anyway, unless they've got an EjectFix BIOS.

I'd be VERY wary about flashing a TSOP using EvolutionX.  I've had it freeze up during the erase process, several times.  Luckily I was only flashing a socketed chip so I was able to swap it with a good one, then hot-swap back to reflash.  If it freezes whilst erasing a TSOP you're screwed.

Not sure what you mean here.  The hole will link traces on the various layers in the Xbox board anyway.  Filling it with solder is unlikely to be a problem, if you were LPC-modding it you'd do that to D0 anyway.

I'm using the retail bios right now, and it resets. And in the normal xboxdash.xbe I attempt to open the drive to put in a game and it reboots.

Okay lets refer to the first pic on the link I gave. See the top of the board? In the rectangle where you are supposed to join the two jumpers togother to flash the tsop, I made a rather large hole with my soldering gun. I also put in alot of solder to fill the whole, but would that hole still be a problem? The whole is in the shape of a small rectangle(just like the pic) and is the exact same size of the rectangle in the pic, so the jumpers are right next to each other in the hole. Sorry I wasn't more clear about this.
