It really is a testamant to the emulator (and NES6502) when i read other forums elswhere and FBL is being used as the yard stick to measure from. Long live the king.

Ok nes,

After a couple of days with the new release, it seems that you've left no stone unturned.  You added in everything I (and most of us) asked for in v1.1, so I really don't know what else to say.  A simple "Thanks" is not enough to express my appreciation.

This is an update in every sense of the word, which is what people are taking note of.  At the very least, I can express how grateful I am that you shared with us what you were able to accomplish with this app.  For a swan song, this is a great way to go out.....with a BANG.

If I find any "catastrophic" bugs in the next couple of weeks, I will report them to you. But that is very unlikely with how polished your work has always been.  It's hard to believe such a talented person like you is walking around out there doing stuff like this for free.

Much appreciation to you and major, major props.  I just wanted to say thanks for FBL, Zsnexbox, and being a great member of the community.  smile.gif  The Xbox Scene was very fortunate to have a developer like you.

Woohoo.....

23 GB of mame roms safely sat on my HD....

Woohoo....just gotta run them through romcenter and i'm ready to roll...Cant wait..

There's no benefit to running megadrive roms through this rather than any other  emu i'm using is there?

I tried to run it throught romcenter last night but it seemed to crash after 3200 roms...any ideas...should i split the roms into folders...

I heard this may be the final version NES, is that right?

I was hoping someday when I'm done with my project if I looked at it you'd listen to any suggestions I had.   cool.gif

I get some really bad lag on Gun smoke on xbox,
same for FB Alpha v0.2.97.07 pc version.
But FB Alpha v0.2.97.05 works great.  uhh.gif

There are more games what have lag.
I have only tested a few of them
and I dont know what to do?

The option to overclock has now been added dude, so this will more than likely
get rid of your lag. Its in the options, (can't remember where, at work!).
I tried some games with overclock last night too, it works great... biggrin.gif

QUOTE(mirsad @ Dec 23 2009, 01:10 AM) View Post

Yeah I put them onto my usb pen drive as lower case and copy them over and they don't work, also I renamed them in xbmc to lower case letters just in case. but they still don't work when I press start on the rom browser which should display the game images.

Is there a problem when you copy over files to a xbox hard drive? cause I can't ftp to my xbox so the only way I can get roms and images over is to put them on usb drive or burn them onto a dvd then copy them over.

I can still view them in the image browser though, and they are jpg's is there a problem with lower case and capitals?

I don't have the source in front of me, but for them to work from the ROM browser they need to be in png format. I think that's the problem. You probably don't need to convert them, you could just type:

ren *.jpg *.png on the command line to change the extension for all of them. Then copy them over. That "might" work. The Xbox may be able to figure out they are actually JPG instead of png files. If not, you'll need to convert them to png.

Thanks Nes that fixed it, just renamed the file extension to png and now they are viewable in the rom browser thanks its great.

I run into another prob, some of the history data is showing the wrong game for e.g "king of dragons" is not showing the proper history data, instead it shows a puzzle game when I press start on it. Anyone else try it out to see if its not just me.

Is it possible to apply a default gamepad mapping per categorie ? for example, i want all the neo geo to have the same keys setup, It would be different from the capcom fighters keys layout.  (or if it is too much asking, how to change the default keys config ?)

I was searching for such a file among ini's but all i can see is per game settings, created once you've launched the game.
