I can add support for any game anyone wants (not 32X or SegaCD though). Just request it.

If the following two games are viable & are added it would be much apprieciated -

Super Skidmarks

Shanghai II: Dragon's Eye

Thanks

can these Megadrive ones be added please ?

battle squadron
pac-attack
xenon II megablast
Megadrive Tetris (as the sega arcade one runs bad in FBL, it gets slower the more pieces on the screen)
Firepower 2000 (american version of Super SWIV which is europe name and runs at 50hz)

and the other good shmups I can't think of at the moment. biggrin.gif

Im not sure is if its against rules but I am having difficulty with the neogeo bios. Romcenter is telling me I'm missing 3 files neo-po.bin, neo-epo.bin, neodebug.bin. Can someone send me the latest neogeo.zip or point me in the right direction please if possible?

For those who do not want to bother with the Megadrive games.  Most of them begin with "g_".

just tried legends. wow this is pretty badass. very nice work. my fbaxx used to freeze all day for fun. this one is running perfect.  biggrin.gif

quick question, is the scanline filter for vertical game supposed to loook little out of place? think you can add numeric value for screen adjustment so I can fix the scanline issues for vertical games.

also I noticed "superscale scanlines" looks slightly sharper. you can try adding that to this version too(its in fbaxxxpro).

If you look close, you'll see that the scanlines are actually wrong. They are vertical instead of horizontal. Not sure you could correct this even with a numeric display. I might try to fix that, but it would be a good deal of work.

It's already there. It's called SuperScale75

Greets your emu is simply amazing I cannot seem to activate the dip switches when i press any button it spits me back into game i am trying to acess the soft dips in the neogeo games to make the milk mode into blood mode cheers

You are picking "Test" from the Arcade Settings menu? If so, you may need to pick two or three times. Sometimes it doesn't register. I think I've fixed that for the next release.

Ok great got that sorted out anyway. OK I have 2129 games recognised from Mame 0.135. But there are still 6097 games unrecognised in this pack with the FBL dat. Can I use romcenter or something else to put all these working roms into a separate folder so that I can just upload what I need. I could probably go through them manually but this would take me ages to do.

I don't know if that is possible. What I did was make a copy of the MAME set. Let RomCenter verify all the roms and then in RomCenter I had it delete unknowns. Then I had only the FBL roms left. There's bound to be a better way though.

I know its vertical but it doesnt look "even". like some lines are "blacker" than other. this can be manually fixed by streatching a screen a little. but I dunno how you can fix this for all vertical games by default. I dont even think its actually possible but then again scanlines for horizontal games look perfect. might wanna look into it.

great work on the skin and everything. that little animated FBAL logo is neat.

Great program. Still wasn't able to get the ini to see a different rom folder on my F drive. Any chance of this option and set this in the menu? Cps3 roms, are they supported? Any chance of midway games to ever work on this, ie NBA jam, mk. Ultra64, ie cruising USA and sfo rush

For everyone: get the latest mame romset (google is your friend) you'll be able to get most of the Roms to work.

Neogeo bios... Google.

CPS3 roms are already supported if you have a 128MB Xbox. All the others will never be supported.

this is false ... half of those games are playble at full speed on the xbox and have been for years

The only game mentioned that runs full speed on any Xbox emulator is MK 1. All the others do not run at full speed or at all.

Is there any way to adjust the analog stick 'deadzone' settings?

I would like it to be able to adjust it to be smaller for certain games so that the controls are more responsive. At the moment it feels like I have to move the joystick a long way before i get any movement. Same goes for moving diagonally, I have to really move the joystick all the way to the corner before it changes direction.

An option to increase or decrease the deadzone value for the analog sticks would be great, and fairly easy to implement =)

I'm thinking of just changing it in the code and recompiling my own .xbe for now. Could you please tell me in which source file the deadzone value is defined?

Great emulator by the way! Seems much faster to load and smoother for most games that I have tried which were a bit slow on CoinOPS  smile.gif Fantastic job nes, thank you for all your hard work!

no offense but that is very wrong.....I wont steal the thread away now but this info is incorrect

all midway games are playable at full speed and so is all CPS3 (some games are a bit low in frame rate on CPS3 like wizard one) ....this includes NBA jams, Narc, Rampage World Tours, MK 1, MK2 and MK3 Ultimate and have been playable for years
*************************************
nba jam plays perfect on this emu.(mamex-b6.)
nba jam te(tounament edition)plays perfect.(mamex-b6).
nba jam hangtime plays good on mameox0.72 dosent load on b6 crashes.
you can also use mamex-b6 for narc,mk1and2 as these games play slower or have no sound on later versions of mameox.
also for mameox0.72 mk3,ukm3,nba jam hangtime and primal rage at full speed.
mameox0.72-plays 2 on 2 Open Ice Challenge pretty good you get sound and you get slight framskip but very playable.
get a hold of the mortal kombat pack which has mk1-3 emulated perfectly as they were ripped from the midway arcade tresure games.
get a hold of the rampage world tour, narc and primal rage pack as these are emulated perfectly as they were ripped from the midway arcade tresure games.(actually alot more is playable via these from midway games)
by the way mk4 can be emulated in surreall64xxx
pcsxbox and download mortal kombat trilogy.in my opinion you dont need mk1-3 after you have this
**************

that is cut and paste from old forums it says more but all have been fixed in CoinOPS now, all above games play on CoinOPS reignite but with sound disabled at full speed...these are very close to running with sound on later builds but occasionally lower in frame rate so sound is disabled by default to give 60 frames a sec..this can be turned off in settings
All CPS3 games have been plable for ages

***************
CPX3 is a Capcom Play System 3 emulator for Xbox1.
including street fighter 3 third strike

Just for a heads up I see alot of incorrect info these days IMO I dont want to ague about this stuff...its just to say here is some info you may want to look into..... you can check these out for yourself or PM I can help you out with alot of those games and whats best as they run perfectly pretty much...this is the wrong forum and only to do with a correction to an incorrect comment. If you post a thread about these games I will talk about this stuff if not this thread for FBL. Take care all

No, you are still wrong.

The post was about arcade emulators running those game full speed. Full speed means this:

No frame skipping required
No lost frames the entire time
Graphics, sound, and input emulated.

It was not about what games are playable. It was not about games that kinda run ok or games that run well enough that most people like it. It was  about games that emulate full speed. It was about arcade emulation not console ports or official Xbox game emulation-simulations (like MK1 - 3)

It also didn't imply sound would need to be disabled. If that was the criteria then I could add support for any game anyone wants and say it runs full speed. I'll just say the graphics, sound, and controllers are disabled, but, it runs full speed (just check out that FPS counter!)
