you havent seen showcase 2 smile.gif im not worried one bit.... not even close actually. Ill help him out with stuff actually no problems id say judging by threads alone it wont even come close but when people see the new CoinOPS I know what they are going to think. Plus it will play about 5 times the amount of unique games that that does

I hope your right though for once ive seen you get it wrong alot and never admit being wrong....ive seen alot like you make claims and not admit they where wrong.

I like that time tells a story that some dont even want to admit and still think it hasnt I see the stats I should print them from the site im staff for you to see...you can ignor or claim anything you want anyways I know something you dont smile.gif hehe

I see you skin threads and downloads etc and for the stuff and its funny you think they are even in the ball park...but hey if you believe it must be true...but it makes me laugh sorry you are in denial or just not that bright. Without a doubt even though the fact is CoinOPS showcase out paced all the other emu numbers added together your right for sure

anyways I know something you dont smile.gif hehe

Not only are you annoying, you are boring aswell.
Had ShowCase 2 for quite sometime now (about an hour after release) and i see nothing new !!!!
If popularity is based on 12 topics in one forum then hey, anyone can do that.
Lets see how things pan out in the next few weeks.
Based on mathmatical chance, dont you think everybody else may be right and its just lonely you thats wrong ?
Just for a change, prove us all wrong. Release something thats new. Hell, release something that looks new.

Ha. Just read your post properly as i usually skim through them as they mostly contain bullshit.
Talking about ones own intelligence is vulgar and in bad taste. However all i will say i have no problems in that department. Anyway, another topic i shall avoid till youve gone. As ive said before, crawl back under your rock and leave the adults to discuss and debate. Youve poisoned one forum which i know for a fact people now boycott cause of your attitude so lets not let it happen here.

Ha ha i know something you dont know aswell
"your a **** but you just dont know it"

Hey hey...

Why people insist in start one fight after another for such silly reasons? Everybody should help each other instead of keep brawling and arguing on a non-sense best emulator war. We are the few alive remaining on the Xbox1 scene and this is really sad.

Let's help each other for better homebrew and keep playing the classic games forever!

Best regards,
C.

here are the most famous and the most important games, or - the
games I really care about and play. I really don't mind about the
missing titles, so if you can't find a game on the list, don't lose
your time asking me if I have more info about it.

to have the games running on their native and correct screen aspect ratio,

I wont be returning there for CoinOPS as long as you are there for sure... I know you think your right as you allways have been smile.gif. Its a pitty I just have to talk random rubbish and nothing of any substance really. Its a sad day to have taken something I would have loved from me, I saw a way forward for me but denied. Its dying with you supporting things there I see and you even said it (also the status show it majorly sad.gif ) . Why rob a dying emulator like mine when other emulators will take over a last chance of happiness smile.gif

and yes I know ill leave this thread alone but you have the option to fall on your sword cba and move forward without me getting in your way. Its a win win situation for sure...you can get back to me on it or just message Gamecop your intent he will help you out

If you want in private I can give you PMs I have cba if you actually think your helping people ill be kind enough to forward them in private to you (ill protect the users names as I do resepect there right to that)

Woah, hang on there, if its support you want then ask, i have no problem with that.
What you have asked for is ideas from users to which you just verbally throw it back at people.
No-one has ever tried to take anything from you BP. It wasnt yours to start with mate.
Im one of the emulators biggest fans, just not a fan of your treatment of people.
Most of all, it sets "you" in a bad light.
Now i know you have another side to you. Ive tried to leg pull with you (jokes n stuff). No go.
I reccommend CoinOps to everyone i build Xbox installs for. Always have, always will.
So its rather unfair to come here licking your wounds and having a go at passing blame.
I would build bits for CoinOps, but you have to meet people half way.

And to answer you from earlier "yes" im wrong often. Funnily enough so are you.
So is the next human and the next and the next. Its not a crime, its learning thats all.
Saying "newb" may be a hurtfull comment in other (reclusive, sad) circles. Its not upsetting me  laugh.gif !
Taking others work and changing the UI. Isnt that a "newb" trait ?
Haven't ever done that, have you ?

Heres my deal, you return to developing CoinOps, answering questions for the users at
the emulators home forum. Releasing upgrades and patching in roms etc. As per usual.
I will stay away from your topics. If i feel capable of helping with anything i have experience with
then i will. Cant say fairer than that. It is a good emulator. Seems your feeling the pinch of your
decision more than the users it was designed to punish. Take care BP and have a think. Help will come
thick and fast if you ask properly and in the right vein. Hardcore Xbox users are a dying breed,
best not to alienate those that are left.

smile.gif I will try but its no deal, and there is solutions in the pipeline to our issues so we can all push forward but thanks for the concern its good to see you have my backPS I am passing blame and have done from day one maybe even before day one really...i havent kept it a secret have I.
also id love to see a few posts on CoinOPS that im wrong and didnt admit it later? find some for me and post them if you can please. I know im wrong at times but I cant recall to many times if you can would be refreshing to see a montage of it really

...hey and as you know ill be out of here now off to safer ground. But the montage would be great

QUOTE
On the SuperNES, games like Super Ghouls n Ghosts and R-Type II had to re-draw the arcade sprites to be 20% smaller, so when stretched on the SNES TV screen, they'd look right to the player.  If you didn't know it was being done, you'd likely never notice.  I have to assure you, on a CRT it's just invisible, unlike how these examples appear on your LCD monitor.

IPB Image
Left: Super NES.  Center: SNES stretched.  Right: Arcade.

So for some games, running a screen size of 512x448 is actually giving you distorted graphics since they were designed to be shown stretched to a 4:3 display.

only read the gist of that....

Sorry BP.... I'm not trying to jump on any "BP hater bandwagon" here and I have defended you here and at other places, but that type of shit was always one of my biggest pet peeves of working with you man.

I would put thought into something that I wanted to express to you, and not only did you not even read it, but you'd come right out and say it to me rudely like that.

I don't know why I bother sometimes.  Why should I defend you when you're obviously the smartest and most important person on the scene?

I'm through with that if you're just too busy to read my posts, even when they're defending you and possibly trying to suggest how you could talk to people in the future so that there isn't so much venom.

Good luck,

Well said there RX.  biggrin.gif

In fact, I would be more than tempted to take it further in person.. biggrin.gif .

Though I appreciate when anyone agrees with me, I don't want my post used as ammo against the guy from others.

I wish none of this would continue happen, but it is and probably won't stop like I'd want it to.   I've been on both sides.  Now that I've done the Xtras for this long, I know all the BS you have to put up with from people who don't help at all but think they know everything.  At the same time, I've worked with BP and can't handle it, for reasons I mentioned above.

What is happening in this and many other threads is the exact reason why I don't want the Madmab Edition emulators released to the public.  I suspect I like to argue almost as much as BP did, and if we weren't operating largely in the shadows except for people who actively contribute to the project, I'd probably be getting into fights with everyone too.  I don't admire the guy for having his work just out there all the time for some people to critique and bash.  (At least before he earned his rep, the good and the bad) I know that most of the time people probably don't mean to say things the way that he thinks they do before going off on one of his self-flattering and otherwise insulting rants.

I think a lot, if not all, of my team feels the same way about releases.  We're working to get the bugs out before major releases, and there's so much to do that's non-emulator related as well anyways, so why rush it just to have 100 new people come in here and tell us how we SHOULD be doing things.

Sorry guys.  I'm not taking sides here anymore.  BP obviously doesn't need my help since he bites my hand when I try, but he continues to make a lot of good progress at his end of the larger picture while I do mine and I'd hate to see him pack up and leave one day because people always feel the need to gang up on him these days (not that I'm saying it's totally undeserved).

MY ADVICE TO BP: (Short, so you actually read this part).

1. Take some time off, at least from the public aspect.
2. Maybe work with a close circle of people who you trust and seem to be able to work well with you.
3. Don't continue to come to this forum looking for fights and pointing out what is wrong.  Who cares?

You don't think highly of anyone here anyhow, so I don't see how your coming here and posting to correct mis-information is any more than fufilling some need you have to piss people off.

Prove it with your work.  It speaks much LOUDER for you than your words do.  Can't say anything about your personal life, but when it comes to the internet, I believe you are much more successful when you talk to machines and tell them what to do than when it comes to people.

I do hope this is the end of the BP bashing in here now, and conversely, I do hope we've seen the last BS post from BP in here for at least a while.

Regards Everyone,
~Rx

You gonna have this problem in anyplace. Emulation scene is one of favorite place for the mister "i know everything", "i want this", "your work is shit", "my work is the best of the world", "i've the biggest d***".
Take Xbox emulation scene, it is the same problem X 10. Well whatever... What i mean is if you wanna live in peace you're actually in one of the worst place of the world lol. Just do what you love that's the most important but you already know that, isn't it?
