Thanks for the interest meditator

How can you live without a computer!?
Anyway, you have a few options for improving your surreal B5 with either the settings from this list or with the surreal.ini file. They are:
1. If you can get to a computer with a cd/dvd burner with xiso installed, then you should be able to download the ini file, burn it to an xbox compatible cd using xiso, and transfer it to your surreal folder using the file manager on your xbox. (Note. I haven't actually tried this but assume it would work)
2. If you can't download the surreal.ini and/or burn it to an xbox cd then you are going to have to just check the list for any games that you want to improve, then input the settings manually using the game-specific settings menu. You bring up this menu by pressing 'X' on your xbox controller while the game is highlighted in the surreal rom list.
NOTE: These settings are designed for Surreal 64 XXX B5.1 CE. Some settings such as the max video memory are fixed in B5 and can not be changed. Also note that in B5 both 1964 and PJ64 use PJ64's max paging memory setting, so if you want to change 1964's max paging memory you need to change PJ64's max paging memory setting.
Hope this help

I love the n64 and Xbox so I'm always interested.
It's not very easy, I can assure you. My computer was stolen so my options are limited. Posting in forums is tiring, as often, like what happened just a minute ago, I have to repost because I press post and it just doesn't work. At least on this site I don't have to put up with a mobile site that doesn't let you use the real site. Opera Mini makes my life simpler.
Now, as far as what I can do, I can't access computers with internet often. I'm not sure the next one I access will have a burner, but I will, when I can. About the games themselves and such, I'm no stranger to editing ini's or getting down in the nitty gritty, so if editing any plain text file will help, just gimme good instructions and I'll do it right from the box. Is there any way, by editing or creating any text file, that I could edit the max video memory, or any other setting CE gives you access to? Also, what are the optimum settings for these games, since I don't think I can check the list in an html only browser: (All (U) [!] versions except the last one) Mario Kart 64, Pokemon Snap, Pokemon Stadium, Star Fox 64, Super Mario, Super Smash Bros., and The Legend Of Zelda Ocarina Of Time Master Quest? Master quest, I'm not sure if it's a goodrom, but it works (quite well in fact), it's detected by Surreal, and I have the little GameCube disk with it on there, so I'm happy. Also, if you have some extra time, could you explain the Video Settings, and how they affect the quality and performance in game? The only one I understand is Texture filter which makes textures more defined or blurry, which Linear (blurry) makes Zelda look a lot better than something more defined. Thank you very much. I look forward to getting a new computer and being able to help the scene once more. Also if you wanna know my settings for a game, just ask, cause the ones I have run decently, at least one player. (Testing two player this weekend with my bud) Thank you for assisting the scene. I hope 1964's new source makes Surreal run better than ever!
Oh, just thought of this. Have you thought of adding this topic to your sig? Just a thought, that way you could just point people at your sig instead of having to copy and paste the link repeatedly.
