Q : How can i continue playing a game that requires you to switch cd's? (save game wise)
A : put the bin/cue of each game in its own numbered folder (ff7a, ff7b ff7c), but name each bin/cue file in that dir the same.
(like with Final Fantasy 7 call all bin files FF7.bin) (don't number the bin files)
then when you save your game right before they ask for the second disc, you can run the second disc with that save.
it starts up just like normal.
Hmm this might need some more explaining, i'd edit the post in the answer thread but my request for mod powers for this forum has gone unanswered.
(i'm using final fantasy 7 as an example here)
make the following dirs.
Final Fantasy 7a
Final Fantasy 7b
Final Fantasy 7c
in those dirs save your bin/cue's
but make sure all are named ff7.bin (or finalfantasy7.bin whatever)
so you'll end you end up with :
F:\Roms\PS1\Final Fantasy 7a\ff7.bin
F:\Roms\PS1\Final Fantasy 7b\ff7.bin
F:\Roms\PS1\Final Fantasy 7c\ff7.bin
(path may be different on your xbox, but again this is just an example)
Now when you reach the end of the first disc you can save the game,
now quit the game and load up the second disc, it will then load your savegame since the filenames are the same.
this should do the trick.
