Ps Ps2 To Xbox Adapter And Arcade Sticks
« on: September 13, 2009, 04:02:00 AM »

Don't know about that since I've never tried it, but are there any arcade sticks that can use USB?  Just asking because an XPORT controller is just a modified USB.  I took the male end of a busted controller and the female end of a spare USB cable and spliced them together.  Now I can hook up a keyboard, mouse and some thumbdrives to the box from a controller port (not all thumbdrives work, so that's hit or miss that your thumbdrives would work).

Might be worth looking into.

After doing some browsing I found a thread where the guy put his xbox controller in a separate box soldered up to a DA-15 connector.

He has a DA-15 coming out of the homemade arcade stick.

This way I can also attach DA-15s to all my old retro controllers and the box with the xbox controller in it can be used with any of them.

This fulfills all of my dreams of using the correct controller for the correct emulator as well as an arcade stick.

There was a thread somewhere where someone mapped out all of the wires for the retro controllers for hooking them up to a DA-15 or something similar.  I will see if I can locate it.

Here is a link to the arcade stick thread
