Not really, but i might as well give it a go.
ok 718Timdog lets try this.
1 - is your xbox modded? (if the answer is no, then go away and get it modded, then proceed to #2)
2 - Since the mame collection is pretty big you'd be better off with a DVD.
3 - Go find a torrent of Coinops which is an awesome collection of preconfigured Mame (I don't know which one is the latest though).
4 - Download a windows program called Craxtion from this site (its under classic xbox)
5 - Start Craxtion and go to the option "Create New Iso"
6 - now choose your Coinops folder and make an iso out of that.
7 - Burn that iso with a burning program.
8 - now establish an ftp connection and transfer the savefolders from the coinops dir to your E: drive.
(or put the disc in your xbox and use a file manager to copy them)
if this is all too difficult for you then put a bigger HD in your xbox and put mame on there.
unless you have a softmod in which case you need to be more careful when it comes to switching HD's
personally i swear by hardmods (a chip) which makes everything soooo much easier.
