Ok, so I have a v. 1.0/1.1 xbox that I would like to flash the TSOP with using the Mechassault exploit.  Ive seen tons of tutorials using the 007AUF exploit, but none that really walkthrough what to do with mechassault... Is it exactly the same?  

So far I have obtained MechassaultwithEvox.zip from "the usual places".  I know I must solder the point on the front of the Mobo and back of the mobo and maybe the additional point if I have a 'Sharp' TSOP (How do I figure out which brand my TSOP is.. does it just say right on the chip?)

Then I plan on copying the savegame using a memory card to the HD of the unmodded xbox, run mechassault, load the savegame, then what?  

With the 007Auf exploit they say just telnet to 192.168.0.64 or something and then run a command to overwrite the TSOP with the 1mb bios that you have placed in the correct directory.   Can this be done exactly the same with the Mechassault exploit?  

Finally, which BIOS should I flash the TSOP with since this is an older xbox..

if your using the evox loader just flash from evox (FTP your bios to C:bios and use evox's flash command, you may have to edit the evix.ini)

Will the EvoX M7 bios work for me, or should I use something else?

Hi.

This is the way I do it with MA.
First, the M7 works nicely.
Just make it to a 1 meg bios. (Take 4x 256 to make 1x 1 meg bios)
Copy save file to mem card from modded xbox->memcard->unmodded xbox.
Boot the un-modded with MA, load savefile from campaign.
From there, ftp over the 1 meg bios to the bios folder.
Restart xbox.
Boot MA, then load save file, select flash bios from menu.
Viola.
Hopefully youll get a no-fragged xbox.
Have worked 4+ times for me.
OF COURSE you must have soldered the 2 solderpoints on the Motherboard.

people only said to use 007 but never heard that use M/A
all M/A method is use EvoX...............
