N64 And Coin Ops

You can get the Command line version of Surreal64 off xbins named: Surreal64.XXX.B5.CMD and you can also follow the progress of it's development in Ez0n3's thread

Unfortunately Coinops will probably never have command line launching.  Which of course was said about PSX and N64 so we'll have to wait and see.

I'm sure it's doable.  It's all about finding the person to take the time to sit down and code it.

Not an easy task.  Still no video support.....

That's good to hear Brit.

My question is have you released the code for CoinOps Ignite?  If these bits of code have been implemented but just need to be debugged to get them working it would seem the chances of success would be much higher if the code is available for that one coder who has the time, inspiration and skills to finish tiding up these last loose ends.

Knock on wood, god forbid data loss it would be nice to know your project was archived on multiple machines.

I just want your project to be all it can be and the chances of that happening are best if all the brightest coding minds can be analyzing the code and doing the magic that only you coders can do.

I'm one of your biggest fans and have enjoyed playing all of your releases.

Thanks for all your hard work!

the answer is yes the source is out (the sources for commandline have been around for years)......yes many people you well know have said they will help and no one has ever spent the hour to help me with non coding elements ( I have pasted the command line code at least 5 times for people (if you search here you will see the source code posted as well for commandline) and have asked for this help on every release as it is asked for on every release ) now I get blammed for being hard to deal with I could find the emails of people saying ill help you and then they never log onto MSN till months later when its released saying im sorry. This is why im hard to work with cause at the end of the day ive put everything in I want and have put in primary code for alot more features people asked for on there word they would help me test it........ so people have the source now im still waiting for them to put there money where there mouth is, I hear so much talk and bad mouthing and nothing to show for it apart from my releases (mame wise) also this means ive held back the next big thing in mame to see if others that have said they will do stuff actually do

My Rant

-if you want sources use google its out
-im really really getting sick of tire kickers though please guys put in the work and stop blaming others for stuff not working I started with no knoweldge. If you want something done put in the work it will happen with enough imagination and effort....dreams come true
-if you want proof I can work with ohers ask stf (on offical forum) I put in everything he wanted in the end this was because he spent the time that is needed to help me get it in...... he will also tell you its hard work and takes time to properly put in features... he helped alot and in return got in everything he wanted or a variant of it.

Hey, relax buddy.....  cool.gif

I don't think anyone is blaming anybody about anything here.

Not 100% of the people are in "the know" about the status of your emu.   I didn't even know that the .CUT code was 90% in there already.  (See.... I told you it could be done).

I know these things don't happen overnight.  Somebody will help out with this though.

Later,
~Rx

Anyways there will be proper sources out soon sync totally for the xbox, I just need a place to release it really (the basic code is out there but I spent hours and hours to make it all xbox source not a mix of PC and xbox source so I didnt have to explain things)
