Aye Rez, regarding PSX games, I do know for sure that certain image types like MDF/MDS's will sometimes work if you convert them using Magic Iso to Bin/Cues. And other times MDF's will work just fine. It's a crap shoot.
Yeah... I did notice that too. I got a few MDF/MDS's to convert fine and others didn't work. Then that brings up a few questions..... were these messed up because they were ripped in MDF/MDS but a few were salvagable? Would the game work if ripped direct from a CD to a more compatible format? Is the game just unusable in the sourcecode?
LOL.... With all I've taught myself, I probably only know about .001% of stuff there is to know about the XBox.
Oh, and I forgot guys...
I don't use .CUE files with this emulator. I don't even have them anymore since the emu takes care of it.
Here's my setup....
Name of the folder:
CD - Earthworm Jim Special EditionName of the ISO file:
CD - Earthworm Jim Special Edition.isoName of the mp3 tracks:
CD - Earthworm Jim Special Edition 02.mp3
CD - Earthworm Jim Special Edition 03.mp3
CD - Earthworm Jim Special Edition 04.mp3
CD - Earthworm Jim Special Edition 05.mp3
CD - Earthworm Jim Special Edition 06.mp3
CD - Earthworm Jim Special Edition 07.mp3
CD - Earthworm Jim Special Edition 08.mp3
CD - Earthworm Jim Special Edition 09.mp3
CD - Earthworm Jim Special Edition 10.mp3
CD - Earthworm Jim Special Edition 11.mp3
CD - Earthworm Jim Special Edition 12.mp3
etc., etc., etc...
and finally....
CD - Earthworm Jim Special Edition 28.mp3
That ought to get you up and running. If you make the folder the same name as the iso file than when you scroll to the folder you will see the boxart too!
Hope that helps,
