Mega Man X3 In Zsnexbox 3.5 Problem
« on: May 25, 2009, 11:56:00 PM »

OK, I just decided to play MMX1 - X3 all the way through.  When I got to X3, there seemed to be a little problem. Believe it or not, X3 is the one I am least familiar with, for I skipped it back in the day for lack of availability.

I have now made it almost all the way through the game, and it seems as if the Mech platforms aren't working... Does anyone know what I am talking about...? Is there a button I am not pushing to activate them...? sleep.gif

You are suppose to select your "Mech upgrades" (that you have found through out the game) from the platforms.

Can anyone help me out and or confirm this for me...? I am assuming it is now a compatibility issue with zsnexbox (3.5) One that someone would have to play into a game to find out... sad.gif

I might also add that I am not able to turn off my rumble files once they are implemented. MMX 1 has a roaring rumble set to 255 on both sides I believe, MMX 2 and X3 have a nice one set to 30 or whatever.  I don't really know what I am talking about when it comes to this stuff. tongue.gif But when using my s-controller, 255, seems to be so much, that the controller wants to shake out of my hands. laugh.gif

I have noticed that the Xbox big controller feels weaker and the xbox S-controller seem more powerful with the rumbles. (s- controllers, probably were made better). I think Gilles wrote the rumbles with the big-boy in mind, cause that is what he uses (I believe)

Thanks for any help and or info. smile.gif

Ah Ah, lol, yes i created all these rumbles with the "BIG BABY" controller.
You can of course set the power of each individual rumble (energy decrease, megaman  buster, weapons; etc...) all these rumble settings are in the controller config, search a little and you will find them through the zsnexbox in game menu option; you can even disable individually each rumbles

As far as i am concerned, i have beaten megaman x3 on zsnexbox without any issues, pm me if you want my version Megaman (?)

I am an ass... laugh.gif
I got farther in the game and found the Mech that you have to physically get in and take out of the chamber. After that, you get the upgrade and all other ones will be now activated. Sorry guys... rolleyes.gif
On the Bright side, I can happily report that all MMX (1 - 3) SNES games work flawless in Zsnexbox 3.5.

Hey Gilles
Yes, I see where you can do all that stuff with the rumbles, in the options menu.
But I still can't seem to  disable them, Even if I set them to off. sad.gif (they still play)

Thanks guys.

Have you tryed to set them all to "off" , exit the game (right thumbstick, then exit), then launch the game again and see if it works for you meg
