For Zelda you must use 1964, PJ64 and UltraHLE dosen't work ...
I try with the EU rom and it's good for me biggrin.gif

But don't ask for it here, we will not answer you in the future ...
There are other thread to ask for "how working a game" ? ... here it is the thread for the "Emulator progress" !

Wow thanks for all your hard work!!! much appreciated. One thing noone mentioned though is shouldn't there be 2 preferred settings 1 for 64mb ram users and 1 for 128mb ram users? Run here on the forums is still doing this mod (great work and service I might add!!) I did this mod basically to get goldeneye multiplayer not to freeze (still havent figured out if its possible or not if you know pm me please) I know I could never get perfect dark running on my 64mb xbox but I have gotten perfect dark running at decent speeds on my 128mb xbox even multiplayer. I would be more than happy to test my roms (I have quite a collection and yes I own a N64 and the original games lost my expansion pack though) on either my 64mb or 128mb xboxes to help out

I second the gameshark idea.  Every other emulator has it so why not Surreal, right?  To get Goldeneye running smoothly doesn't the ram have to be upgraded to avoid the slowdown or frameskipping?

To be honest I have not seen a lick of difference with goldeneye between my 64mb xbox and my 128 mb xbox. I have not played through single player but it seems to run pretty smooth as does the multiplayer until it freezes. I would appreciate it if someone could go into multiplayer pick 2 players complex rockets and see if after a few deaths from rockets it freezes. When it freezes the sound seems to be looped so the issue might lie there somehow. The most Ive gotten it to go without freezing is 2 games can anyone else confirm they get the same results??

Now I know Surreal sees the extra ram because on perfect dark I get like 1fps on my 64mb xbox but on my 128mb it runs pretty dam good even multiplayer. there are some slowdowns on the menu and some graphical glitches but it is playable

To be able to play goldeneye like they do would be amazing to say the least

I have both Zelda's and I tried them both the other day. Both launched but MM, the mask in the beginning spun really slow.

Holy son of a *****!!! Enjoy I will!!

Huge, huge thanks to Schibo for the 1.0 source. I couldn't possibly thank you enough!!

I've been having some trouble with the 0.8.5+ source (missing files/runtime errors) so I'm really hoping the 1.0 source will be less troublesome.

HUGE thanks Schibo!

Hey Ez0n3,

You're very welcome.
Btw, please grab version 1.1 from 1964emu.emulation64.com. I made a mistake and accidentally released version 1.0 which was an experimental compiler using MSIL (which I never finished)..and that breaks games like Perfect Dark (E) and Banjo Tooie (E).

Good luck!
schibo

Got it, thanks again.

I'm going to try and set up a Sourceforge page this week if time permits.

Hey guys!

I always hoped to play Dr. Mario 64 on Surreal64, however the game never worked.
Everything runs fine except for the medication pills - we can't see them - situation
that makes the game totally unplayable.

After that, I invested some bucks on a GameCube, a original component cable, a freeloader disc
and bought the original japanese Nintendo Puzzle Collection. Now I can play Dr. Mario 64 in
all it's beauty. And the nice thing is that I got together Puzzle de Pon (Tetris Attack in the US)
and Yoshi's Cookie.

And why not buy Zelda Collector's Edition? Ocarina & Majora's right away!
Ha ha... simply got everything in few days.

But I am really happy with the good news about Surreal!
Regards,
Cospefogo.

Textures packs use many memory that xbox don't have sad.gif
She has only 64 Mo ...
I speak about it with RICE and he tell me it will be very hard to make because on an emulator it is very hard to know what texture load and not.
If it is possible it will ask many work and it is not the priority, first we must work on games compatibility.
Sorry
