hi thanks, but i should've explained. its not just the frame update, but all of these options that i was thinking of.
every time i want to change the fast texture load settings i have to find the game in the rice ini file and add it manually, which can be tedious, i was wondering if you could implement the extra options into the emulator in some way, e.g select 1964 then when you choose your plugin press white and these extra options apear. would allow more options to fix games.
thanks again for working on this, i thought is was deader than duke nukem forever a 1 point
I was thinking about something like that, but there are about 32 options for the Rice plugins and no one version uses them all. So that would be a
little tricky. I would like to get all of the params working on all the versions - but that might defeat the purpose of using different ones - I have to look into it still. 32 options would be one heck of a menu!

Not ruling it out, but that may take some time

.
I would eventually like to get the emu and plugin selection in the menu rather than at launch. That way you can configure it once and then it will launch right in every time without having to keep making the same selections over and over. Not sure about that though - still debating.

Just got a chance to check this out...I wouldn't say that Mario kart 64 works perfect.. It of course had some lag in 2 player mode. but I did notice that it and other games were running better.
Man, we need that 1964 source...
Hey Ez0n3
I noticed that you had the one thread about audio plugins a few days ago and then bam!, you released: B5.1 Ce, all within the last few days. How long have you been working on it? Have you been basing this project out of another site, and that is why this is (what seemingly here) is the first news of it?
I am assuming with your ambitions, that you will be continuing to improve upon it.
Best of luck, and thank you. I hope that the community comes together and you get some good help on it.
If you use 1964 and Rice 5.1.0, Mario Kart 2 player should be very smooth. But, you can't see anything on the first players screen

. When you go up in Rice versions - things slow down. Still looking into why, but it could be as simple as that because it's only rendering half the screen - it's faster than the versions that render both properly.
Getting a hold of 1964 author Schibo is the only way you'll see new 1964 source - and that's if he wants to (or can) release it. I've had no luck contacting him

.
Bomb Bloke and I have been throwing ideas back and forth for a little while (he pointed out a few bugs, the skip loading screen idea and some other stuff). Just recently, more people have started suggesting stuff and pointing out problems that I wanted to work in. I also wanted to add some audio plugins which is the reason for the audio plugin post a few days prior, but I just couldn't find the source. No one replied with any info at first so I figured it wasn't available so I just released what I had so far (was asked to by a few people) and then hunt for the source afterwards.
I was talking to Iriez when he uploaded 5.1 and he said he might know where to get it. The next day, a few different people (freakdave, edwardar and I think one more - bad memory

) found the source and hooked me up. I don't think anyone took me very seriously until I released something

. Or I should have waited another day - but that's something I'm still working on. So it gives people something to play around with in the meantime.

Oh.... there's a new release out already? Damn!
LOL.... I'm too busy to try it out now though. Hopefully you keep working on it man.
Does Goldeneye work yet?
Only the one release so far (5.1CE)

. I thought Goldeneye worked under UltraHLE, no?
My
real work is on and off. I had like two weeks to kill so I put it towards trying to get Surreal up to snuff. It's the only emu I have so far (still have many to try) that's kinda lagging behind the others. My nieces and nephews (and me - kid at heart

) where having a hard time with crashing, compatibility issues and they would get into the menu and mess stuff up (one of the main reasons I did the CMD patch - the cuts keep them out of the confing and they're purdy

). Depending on how busy I am at work will determine how far apart the updates will be

.
