OK, im still new here, and I am not expecting an answer from anyone because no one seems to reply to me on this site, but here gos again.

I have gotten pokemon snap to work, everything appears to be working compleatly fine, until I actually start taking the pictures. then all the buttons work except the joystick. It works before that for putting your name in and selecting stuff, but not after. Is this a common problem or am I screwed. And in case your wondering I did google it and all I got was a bunch of wii refrences, something about buying it online on the wii. ANY reply would be good at this point.

Indeed.

... I've always wondered, is there REALLY a cheat for that game which turns the camera into a sniper rifle?

well, at least you guys game me some kind of a reply. not anything useful, but something. If anyones remotly interested, not only does the joysticks not respond, but about minute into a level, the FPS drop from like 20 something I think to 6. If that might help. Again a link somewhere that would make me feel stupid for not finding the answer myself would be nice. ANYTHING would help.

Got bored waiting for some other downloads today so decided to give it a try.

Of the three emulators included in the Surreal pack, only Project 64 seems to play it decently, and as you say the controls don't work and it starts to crawl part way through the stage.

Read here that this is just the way P64 works.

Tried going right through the first stage so I could see if the second works. Turns out there's another bug at play, so even if you take some pictures of pokemon they don't register. No points means you can't get to the second stage.

In short: I don't think you're gonna get it to work...
