But to answer you, IDE means Integrated Drive Electronics.

And yes, that drive will work in your xbox.

It means it will work on xbox....course 7200 rpm means it puts off extra heat, and there is not much difference in loading times between 7200 rpm and 5400 rpm so 5400 is better.
