you could use 007_tsop_flash_kit_1_0_alpha6.zip
it is based on rainroat 0.5 and can flash a winbond w/o a PC

maybe it could be adapted to mech if you can't get 007

does anybody know how the Mech Assault exploit works?
do you just sign the xbe and put it in the correct directory structure?

should be able to just tranfer the default.xbe over to the gamesave folder, i eman it must already be signed to run from 007.....or is the signing folder/game specific? dont know

with the M/A-Evox hack(assuming its the same as the 007-Evox) all you should have to do is go into the evox.ini, and add the winbond chip flash type to the bios section, and you should be set to flash it, so long as you did the solders right(if not it just wont flash and your box will still be ok)

i wouldnt trust a TSOP (especially a winbond) to evox, you can run the 007 raincoat xbe from evox the flash with raincoat

you cant run anything from evox if the box isnt modded yet....thats the whole point of the 007/MA hack....so you can run something like that....unless the xbe is signed it still cant be executed on an unmodded box.....so the raincoat xbe from evox isnt an option...why would you mod your box if you could get evox to run anything even without it moded? if it lets you erase your chip...it will let you reprogram it....so there is really NO way to mess up unless you make an error yourself(invalid bios bin) or the power is knocked out....i use the 007evox on all the mods i do....ive done more that 20 boxes with no trouble

in the 007 hack evox is signed with habibi's key.  you can run anything you want (like raincoat) if it is signed and put in the gamesave dir (replace evox).  the question at hand is: does the Mech Assault exploit use habibi's key too?

I am going to try it.

Someone needs to update all these 007/mech exploits with the new evox anyway.
