Surreal 64 Majora's Mask Settings
« on: May 12, 2008, 08:05:00 PM »

I have a Majora's Mask emulator, that I would like to play on my xbox. I play the same emulator on my computer and it seems to work fine. When the xbox runs I get about 20fps, but the big problem is that I can't see what time it is on the screen. It is kind of hard to play the game without this showing. I was wondering if it could be possible to fix this by changing some emulator settings. Right now I have:

Audio Plugin: Azmer
Max Video Memory: 4
1964
Dynarec Memory: 8
Paging Memory: 4

Project64:
Dynarec Memory: 16
Paging Memory: 4

I use 1964 to load it. Any ideas?

I saw these settings suggested once, but haven't got around to trying them:

Surreal64 XXX Beta5

1964 -> 5.60

Video Sett.
Texture: Linear
Vertex: Hard Vertex

Emulator Sett.
Audio: Basic Audio
1964
Dyn. Memory: 7
Pag. Memory: 7

There is (was?) a bug where 1964 would use Project64's RAM settings (or was it the other way around?). Better to set them both to the same thing.
