when dragon's lair suddenly stopped working one day it drove me nuts. i reinstalled the videos, the roms, double checked everything, even re-downloaded the daphnex program itself and still ended up with the same thing every time: a scoreboard with a couple random numbers that disappear after like 10 seconds. anyway, when i finally checked the "game options" for DL i noticed the problem: listings like "no player" for the laserdisc option (as opposed to space ace, for example, which is set to the "mpg2v" option (or whatever it is). so i changed the setting, tried the game, same thing!! i went back into the options and noticed everything had changed BACK. obviously, daphnex is not saving my choices in the options menu! why on earth would this be the case for only ONE game??
