Hey all!
PSX, PS-ONE and all other gamepads before them are NOT pressure sensitive.
PS2 is pressure sensitive and if you don't press "boldly", don't press "strongly"
the Xbox emulators will not detect the signal. This is why I do recommend for
every single soul out there using a PS2 controller on a Xbox thru adapters to
search for the traditional PSX pads.
This was already verified by the Xbox emulation community and this is the universal
truth. Lets leave this information here clear, crisp and sharp for anyone out there
who could be interested in learn more.
XBOX emulators does not register the pressure sensible mechanism of PS2 gamepads,
so the PS2 gamepad user will need to press stronger the buttons than the PSX/PS1,
Saturn or any other controller user.
The End.
God bless us, and goodbye.Cospefogo.

"(...) Button mashing doesn't always work on the Playstation 2, as it did on prior
systems. Its dual-shock controller is setup for the buttons to be pressure sensitive,
so game titles can react differently to how hard a player presses the button. Some
developers have already programmed this feature into many Playstation 2 titles, which
gives players better and more realistic control over the action. (...)"

"(...) the Dual Shock 2 added a feature badly needed for precise control in racing
games: pressure sensitive face buttons. Although the Dreamcast had two pressure
sensitive triggers on the top of the controller for gas and brake, it proved awkward
to use them in racing games compared to face buttons. On the PS2 not only do the
face buttons and L/R triggers have pressure sensitivity, it's a little known fact that
even the D-pad is pressure sensitive. (...)"

the PS2 sensitive pressure buttons, but I think I don't need to make that. Everybody
here can use google and search for a complete world of information on this matter.
