I can't get it to play Alundra for the life of me... so I wiped off all the saved games and deleted the emulator and everything.

Then I reinstalled it on my xbox and now it won't play ANY GAMES!  It use to play Legacy of Kain Blood Omen before this, now it just locks up when I load it on the "loading" screen.

So this is making me really mad!  Should I go in there and delete all the UDATA And TDATA files?  How can I get a fresh start?  Or is there something else that may be the problem???

HELP PLEASE!!

Don't double post and don't make double threads, you had a good thread going so there was no need for a second one.

I tried deleting the Udata folder that contains the PSCXBOX stuff... it didn't do anything.

I also deleted the skins folder, no changes.

Why would the game work and now it won't?  I deleted the emulator and reinstalled it (same version and different versions), while deleting all the save files and etc... what I would think is a fresh start... but for some reason it doesn't load a game that it use to load just fine...

Does anyone have any clue how I could go about fixing this???

XPort's emulators never save anything to TDATA or UDATA.
It's all stored on E:\SAVES\ by default.
You should have a PSX folder inside the SAVES folder on E:\, back it up (just in case) and delete it and see if that helps.

I didn't erase my bios file... you mean the SCPH1001 file that is included in the bios directory in the emulator right?

Or are you talking about some other bios?

Why would I need a new bios in my playstation emulator?  Which one would I need?  I have all of them... and I have tried just putting them all in the bios folder but that did nothing.... maybe I have to edit a file to make it choose a certain bios?

Oh, and I already did try deleting the E:saves folder, did nothing.

If you've wiped the SAVES folder then you should get the default settings back...

I know PCSXbox crashes when you load certain games with certain cores, so press X on the game selection screen and choose a different core (1.4, 1.5, 1.6).

I can't believe nobody else has this problem...

I know on one topic someone was having a very similar problem as me and they deleted the skins folder and it fixed it.  I tried that but it didn't do anything... is there any other problems with skins?

Pull another clean install (wipe all program/save files then extract everything afresh), then clear out your caching folders as well (contents of X/Y/Z partitions, and E:\CACHE).

By memory, the latest version is 1.8, so make sure you're using that (or above).

Hmmm, I tried that.  Here is exactly what i did.

I unzipped the latest Pscxbox to my computer hard drive.

I linked the Xbox to my computer....

Then I formatted the X/Y/Z partitions and deleted the E:/Cache files.

After that I uploaded the freshly unzipped pscxbox to my xbox.  I uploaded the two games that I was having trouble loading....... and it was the same thing, they didn't launch at all.

Did I do anything wrong?  Anything?
