Alunda On Psxbox

Hi, I read in the compatability list that Alundra works fine with standard bios settings.

I have tried to boot this game up in the latest ps1 emulator for xbox and it just gives me a black screen.  It doesn't freeze, I can exit out of the game whenever I want, but it never progresses....

Does anybody know anything about this?

Do you have the bios files?? I know that if you don't have them, you'll get that black screen. I have that game on my box and it works just fine, make sure you have the right bios file.
Hope that helps......

Hey, I just have the regular bios file that comes with the emulator, scph1001.  I have a bunch of other bios files on my computer, though.  Which one would I need??

Thanks!

well I added every bios file that I have and it still didn't work.

I tried converting the image to bin/cue        mds/mdf       and img/ccd

None of them work.  I tried multiple versions of the emulator as well.

Are there any special settings that I should try?  I have tried a few, but mainly I just go with the standard settings...... is there something I need to change?  Does the file have to be named something special?  I dunno, I am totally lost, I didn't really make any changes to the emulator..

Can you tell me exactly how you got it to work?  I have gotten other games to work on there (tactics ogre, legacy of kain blood omen, suikoden 1 and 2, etc...)  But I can't get this one ...!

My Alundra is in an .img file, if that helps any. Have you recently upgraded to a newer version of the emulator?? I was having issues running it once I got Xport's newest version, but I went in and deleted the settings for the emulator and it worked fine.
It might be a bad rip, or something. You might want to try to rip it again using one of the tutorials on here. Would anyone else like to chime in??

I think that is what I need to do.... how do I delete all the settings and get a fresh start?  Can you tell me exactly what you did?

You have to delete the gamesave in the dashboard, or in the game save manager in unleash X or XBMC, that's what I did, and it was fine after. If that doesn't work, then do a fresh install of the program.

Well I think I did that.. try to bear with me, I bought this xbox used from a friend and he helped me load it with stuff... so I don't know everything about this stuff.

My operating system is evocx, when I hook my computer up to my box there is a "SAVES" folder and I deleted all of the files that were in there under pscsbox.

Then I deleted the whole emulator off my box.... I unzipped the original pscxbox version 18 and uploaded it back onto my xbox... then I uploaded the games.  I did this and neither of the games worked anymore....

I also tried it with version 19 too and version 17... and version 4.... ugh!

Can someone please give me some step by step instructions on how to fix this?

What are all of those UDATA AND TDATA files by the way???
