mameox128 plus-raiden fighters2(2000)
mamex-b6-mortal kombat1,2,3 if you want to play mortal kombat with sound this is the version to use.
mamedox arcades-this is mostly for ease of use, very simple to use and progear(nuff said)
fbaxxxpro-for all those neogeo games this is the best, and of course all those cps2 games.
so what arcade emus do you use and why?

I have installed Mameox128 plus, mamedox arcades, and FBAxxx pro.

I use mamedox arcades for all of the mame stuff, older arcade games... I play through alien vs predator a couple of times a month and space shooter type games. Pacman is a good party game.

I use mameox128plus never... mainly because arcades works just fine and I don't have a complete mame romset. Although I do have a 128mb xbox and should really look into acquiring these roms, especially the ones you can only play with a 128 box but i just don't ever have the time.

fbaxxpro of course for all of the neogeo and cps2 streetfighter games... love street fighter play it all the time, also those samurai showdown games are awesome, just discovered them.

oh and cpx3 I use for the cps3 games... that counts right? .... street fighter 3 is pretty awesome. can't say the same for what I've seen so far of street fighter 4, although I'm looking forward to that game more than I've looked forward to anygame for a very long time.

i forgot about cpx3,ive got it on my hdd,yes streetfighter3 is an awsome fighter and sf4 is gonna have to be something special to beat it.
kawax is another one i forgot about, its a bit out of date now but its the best emu for neogeo load times, much quicker than fbaxxx.

This is what I have for arcades:

MAMEdox Arcades - My new favorite Arcade emu.  Great improvement over the MAMEox128 setup, and it plays a lot of games like Ikari Warriors, Guriella War and quite a few games that gave "MEMORY ALLOCATION ERROR" OR "NOT ENOUGH MEMORY" errors on MAMEox128 Plus.

MAMEox128 Plus - I'm using that to test all of the games that MAMEdox Arcades doesn't play now.  Hopefully BritneysPAIRS will add them for us when he's done.  Then the only reason to keep this emu would be if you had 128MB ram or there were one or two games that BritneysPAIRS just couldn't get to work on Arcades for some reason.

FBA-XXX Pro - Great GUI on that one.  It would be nice if it played more but aside from a very few games, including most of the Street Fighter II games, it plays what it's supposed to play flawlessly.  Until I tried Arcades, I thought it was the most impressive emulator.  Probably a tie between the two.

CPx3 - Pretty impressive emulator here, especially considering all the neighsayers that were convinced CPS3 emulation was impossible on the XBox.  All of these games were after my time, but it is pretty cool trying them out.  Emu has a cool look to it too.

I'll have to try mame-b6.  I wasn't even aware that there was a MAME on XBox that would play Mortal Kombat games.  Wonder if however they did it could be brought to Arcades as well someday?  I'd love to just have the big 3 emus on the XBox for arcades and the Killer Instinct emu as well.

Oh yeah... I've got the Daphne emu too.  Pisses me off that I can't get a good framefile for the newer Space Ace, because I've got all the games that work working on it otherwise.

oh yeah ressurection one thing you should know.mamex-b6 struggles with roms over 25mb so if you want to try mortal kombat3 or ultimate mortal kombat trilogy then use mameox0.72b.anything over o.72 and as you know the games are choppy.new updated driver problem.

competes2win there is hardly any roms that really take advantage of the 128mb upgrade on mameox128,the only one i know of is the original streetfighter.games like tekken 1,2,3 and battle arena toshinden(psx hardware)dont take advantage of the ram upgrade as its mainly due to the mame core not getting enough cpu power.
