Preview Artwork In Xport's Emus
« on: December 24, 2007, 02:57:00 PM »

I've been having some issues. I got the artwork to show in Zsnesxbox, but I can't get artwork in any of the Xport emus because I have no idea what folder to put it in. Anyone want to help this clueless fool out?

No there's no offense I'm cryptic and as such haughtiness is often assumed.  The key things to take away are to make sure that the folder names in the screenshot folder match the game rom names, and to make the files as above with WinRAR's right click interface.  And Lupa's Rename 2000 to rename the images you then put in the folders.  This is the essential process by which screenshots for games may be made in bulk.  Regardless, the images should be PNG format for XPort emus I think.  My NES super heady make-your-own-from-them 450x pixel packs are JPG for transmission purposes but I think they need to get PNGed or something to use them.  Simple image conversion program.  XPort's GUI's need them portable network graphics to display artwork quick, this allows for full use of max resolution screenshots (screenfilling, as on my XBox).  I demand high quality SNES boxes and carts, I demand them at resolutions of 450 horizontal pixels or greater, preferably 700+.  Guybird had a run at it and I don't know as anything came of it.  Now that thread's locked and everyone's rapidshares and megauploads full of heady artwork are dead.  It's hard because one missing image will ruin your motivation to release a Complete pack.
