Hello friends,

I have looked through many pages on how to use Surreal (N64 Emulator) but none seem to specify how to access it once it gets on the xbox, you see I have 20 or so roms copied onto one of the drives but I cant seem to launch the application off the disc or on the HDD it could be the iso I made; (out of the Surreal I got from a torrent)  is their a file I can launch in Surreal directory (either on disk or on my Xbox HDD) that will start it up? Or could you tell me what I must put in the root folder of the CD / DVD?

well if you have surreal on your hardrive then go into file explorer and go to the sureal files and click on default.xbe.

ok, thanks for that ive can now get it working on both my hard drive and cd (I had a bad version of it) but now, whether I load it from the CD or HDD it gets to the screen that says 'Sureall 64 XXXX loading' or whatever and it will either never pass that screen, or just return to the dashboard, im using UnleashX and my BIOS is: X2 4977. It was weird though because I got it working (sort of) last night and it came to the actual menu of Surreal but I tried again today and it didnt work so I deleted all the files I could find associated with Surreal thinking this mite help, but nothing, I still have the same problem (Sureall 64 XXXX loading screen pauses or fails)

ok now it shows the splash screen and just then just goes to a black screen.... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)

did you burn cd at a slow spped ie x4?
and did you try launching from the default.xbe?
try launching surreal from a different dash,if you have evox try launching from that dashboard.ive heard of people having problems launching certain emus from unleashx in the past,give that a try anyway.
