Can't Get An Nes Emulator To Run Correctly Over Component Cords
« on: November 26, 2007, 01:16:00 AM »

i have the component cord for my xbox.  i have fceultra installed ( i know it's old, but it works still).  when i go to start up, it displays all crazy on my screen.  i have to remember the sequence to get into the menu and set it on either 480p or 1080i (even though my tv does 480p/i, 720p, and 1080i, it displays 720 all crazy also)
the trouble is that it never saves this configuration, so i always have to remember how to go into the menu blind each time

i tried mednafenx and it's a very nice emulator, works fine with my component cord.  however, some games have odd color palettes (game plays fine, but colors are swapped all funny).  i tried switching to auto-palette and it didn't make a difference.  ???

what games are you having color palette problems with? I have never had hardly any issues with mednafenx-nes except the accurate palette is just a little tad lighter on this emu than a regular nes.

i'll try reinstalling it and getting new roms, maybe my roms are screwed up or something
