Problem Playing Chrono Trigger.

Hi all,

I'm playing through Chrono Trigger for the first time ever. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)  Anywho, I'm to a part in the "future" where you have to enter XABY to unlock a door.  I enter X A & B correctly, but then when I press Y nothing happens.  This includes me changing Y to several other buttons, nothing seems to register.

In the scope of ordinary play, the Y button functions fine, but just doesn't seem to click at this part of the game.

Can anything be done?
