CPX3 v1.0a
Posted by XanTium | September 1 18:17 EST | News Category: Xbox

A new version of CPX3 has been released - it's a Capcom Play System 3 emulator for Xbox1.
What's new/fixed:
* Fixed controls not being saved after configuration.
* Fixed sound interpolation settings not being saved.
* Fixed sprite/bg 1-pixel misalignment
* Fixed autoframeskip code when using PAL50 screen modes. I've added an option in the Video settings to select if you want to keep the PAL50 mode (and play at 50fps) or switch the xbox to PAL60 (not supported in old TVs). You must reset the emulator for this option to take effect.
* Rearranged the controls to a more standard layout:
-Insert coin is now the BACK button, Service (credit) is white button, Test is black button,
-GUI Enter/Exit is right thumbstick button.
* The Virtual Memory cache was being stored in the Permament Title Storage, in the current partition. Now it's stored in the Utility Partition, that is cleared when a new title is loaded.

Dissapointed with the right thumbstick button being used for GUI enter/exit, ive been using an x-arcade to play this on my arcade machine and it dosnt have a thumbstick button.... Will need to find another way(combination buttons like start and back together would be nice ala mamedox). Thanks a lot for the update anyway, fantastic emulator  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/pop.gif)

That update is out already several days. Why are emulators mentioned so late in the portal or often even ignored these days like some of the latest XPort updates?

No emu news because we gotta make way for news on more ways for pirates to ripoff X360 games.

I tried all the cps3 games I have and they all work except "Street Fighter III 2nd Impact" and "Street Fighter III 3rd Strike". I receive a Load Error message about missing files. I tested my roms using the included dat file and romcenter and they seem Ok.
I tested several "different versions" (all are ok for romcenter) of these roms but it seems like the emu doesn't "see" them. I'll try explainin better: if i delete these roms from Roms folder and then i select them (I don't know why but they are still on the load list, all cps3 games are on the list even if they are not present in roms or chds folder ??) i obtain the same error message informing me that all files are missing.
Which i'm doing wrong?
Thanks in advance for your help.
