Gentlemen,

Since the other topic is getting really crowded, and the title
just mention only about .CUT shortcuts for FBA-XXX I think
we should have a official one to spread the news about wide icons for
arcade games and emulators.

I did setup in my website a new section
with all artwork released until the moment, by me and some other comrades,
like Mr. Ebsy and Mr. Retroplay.

That is really good work on the emu icons. Love the way there all uniform. Gonna have to scarf them all up tonight. Thanks a bunch. I would also like to see this topic pinned, esp as more peeps contribute.

Retroplay, these wide icons are just lovely! Thanks so much for taking the time to create them, I know for sure I don't have anywhere near the artistic ability to pull something like this off.

On a side note It would be lovely to see a ZX Spectrum one, if you feel the need and have the time. I'm sure all us Speccy lovers would appreciate it.

ps: I would just like to ask you a question, do you think you will be covering all of the emulators in time?, as I have all of them on my xbox and if I could have a full set of these icons it would be so nice as the other icons stand out pretty badly now.

I love these wide icons, are there going to be icons for the Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis and Turbografx 16?  I know there's Super Famicom and PC Engine icons, but something American specific would be nice too.

Hej Retroplay!

Very nice work! Fantastic, matter of fact.
Just one tip - For picture who does not fit 100%
in width inside the PSD canvas, try paiting them
with black color using a laaaaarge SOFT brush,
this way the overlay/blending between the
picture and the logotype/console name area
will be perfect.

Example - the last two Sega Genesis are *PERFECT*!
The first two (the ones with the camera flash reflection)
could look better if you paint the right side of them
with black. Can you notice the problem?

Other thing - Sorry, I am a neat silly guy - did you
accidentally slide the font's SHADOW LAYER after
the ZX Spectrum icon? All icons after it are with
the shadow behinf the text layer in the wrong
orientation --- let's not say wrong --- let's say
in a different way of all other icons (mine and
the first ones you build).

If it was intentional, never mind - I just mention
because I think that the most important
thing on a icon set is to apply the same identity
to all of them!
