made some wide icons for emulators. uses these for parent folder rather than making individual icons for every game.

Great Icons Watty... I'd actually use them as my emulator icons since I don't load my roms from xbmc anymore. But being a bit OCD I'd need a full set for my emulaters... you wouldn't by chance have time to make a Sony playstation, 64, and Mame one would you? if not than that's cool.

Awesome man awesome. I like the white background look with the authentic text for each system, great work.

Why did you use Paper Mario art for the Snes one though? Paper Mario just screams N64!!
same with the Sega Genesis pic, why use Dreamcast Sonic?  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Agreed, kinda. Maybe a more appropriate snes one would be nice. The paper mario would be good for N64 but I actually like the Link one better for that... I'm also ok with the Sonic, since that sonic is going to look a lot nicer than any other sonic, and since we all probably basically have only one sega emulator than there is no chance for ambiguation. For the Snes one I think there is some good Donkey Kong Country stuff that might do the trick.

yeah but the problem with that Sonic is that that is the "attitude" Sonic, 16bit Sonic was classic because he didn't try so hard to look cool.
(yes Sonic, you are a poser these days.. and so is your emo goth buttbuddy Shadow)

aah, back when Sonic was just a videogame character and not a cashcow reinvented to get kids to buy Sonic merchandise.

HEY KIDS LETS DO CRACK CUZ WE'RE KEWL!!!
I'M SONIC AND I'M SELF PROCLAIMED COOOOOOOOOL.

I got fba-xxx_pro_v1.28 and the .cut file tricks doesnt work with it , but it works with the other emulators, does it work with this version of fba or maybe im doing something wrong. what happens is that whejn i start the .cut file it it starts the emulator but it says i missing the rom files for a game called 1942 when i dont even have that game. but when i start the game from within the emulator it works but not from xbmc.

Thank you for taking the time to look into this and explain it with such fantastic tutorial.  This thread has breathed new life into my box and if I can polish up my photoshop skills there's no end to the custom looks you can make.  Thank you very much.

One question.  Is there a working .cut for the CPS3 emu?  Having no luck with that one.  Thanks in advance. =)

Here's some I made.  I like them to take up the full amount of space so I use 700x130 dimensions so hopefully some of you like them.  I still need help making a working shortcut for CPX3 emu.
