Guys, I apologise about this. When I first started creating them the first one I looked at was 760x140 so I based everything on that res...later on I realised the majority of the wide icons were in fact 760x160 but then it was too late.
However, the 'standard' of 760x160 only came about by people ripping the game banners off the xbox.com site and that's the resolution most of these banners were at. As far as I'm concerned, I'm not really bothered. I only use Cospefogo's great 'realistic' icons for my emulators and my own created icons for when I launch the fba-xxx games. In future I'll continue to make them at 760x140.
One more thing...the submission guidelines at mediaicons.org state that a wide icon should have an aspect ratio of 5.4:1 and 760x140 equals an aspect ratio of 5.43:1. 760x160 has the aspect ratio of 4.75:1. But, they're only guidelines at the end of the day and it seems a little silly to go back and redo all the icons for the sake of 20 pixels.

oh PS.
Cospefogo: I noticed in one of your posts you said that your original comic style icons looked too vibrant when viewed on your xbox?. I'm assuming you're still on your composite leads that came in the xbox...box. You're in Europe right? I'd seriously consider upgrading to the RGB SCART cable. My picture improved IMMENSELY when I swapped out the composite for the RGB SCART cable, I never get bleed over any more and your original comic icons looked perfect.
