Cant Transfer .bin File To Xbox
« on: June 02, 2007, 06:12:00 PM »

Hello aswem people of Xbox-scene.com i here once again with another problem. I cant transfer the .BIN file which i made in order to play a playstation 1 on my xbox. I have the emulator on my xbox and its ready to use, BUT when i try to transfer the .BIN file in the E:\Emulators\PCSXbox\pcxcds folder it transfers like 23% and then stops. when starting my xbox here is what it says:

[R] PASV
[R] 502 pasv is not implemented
[R] PORT 192,168,0,1,4,55
[R] 200 port command ok.
HERE IS WHAT IT SAYS WHEN I START TRANSFERING:
[R] STOR Spyro-1.bin
[R] 150 Opening BINARY data connection for E:\Emulators\PCSXbox\pcxcds\Spyro-1.bin
[R] 426 Connection Closed, file opening failed.

[R] Transfer failed!

Here is a pictur of it: http://s161.photobucket.com/albums/t238/Sa...nsferfailed.jpg

Do I need to use another FTP program?
OR do i need to do do somthing to the options of flashFXP?

i use flash fxp myself and it always workes fine

it stops after about 23%?
perhaps theres not enough space in this dirrectory???

i think the problem isnt connected to the iso itself
(btw. so much effort for spyro? ôO?)

PS:
make sure you really dont use any firewalls while transferring....

Best if you burn it on DVD - you save lots of space on HD (specialy for Spyro)

Depends what his HD size is, if he has a 500gig HD i certainly wouldn't wanna waste a DVD just to save 500mb.

OK thanks everyone  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)  u all helped! I didnt know u can just burn the spyro game on a CD and play it. I thougt it HAS to be on the HD

BTW---Spyro games are fun and i like them.
But i put in soo much effort because i get $20 from my uncle if i did this. (we had a bet to see if it was possible)
And WOW 3 responces!!! I LOVE XBOX SCENE!!!

PS. Is it possible to burn it on a CD instead of a DVD? cause its only 600MB

Of course you can always put few games on one DVD

Try CDRW as you must have big luck if your Xbox can read normal CD

Maybe i'm just a cheap bastard, but i just don't see the point in making a bin/cue out of my own discs,
and then burning them to a dvdr just so i can use it with a notsogood psx emulator.

but meh, i'm dutch.. we're notoriously cheap.
