What kind of fix did the calibration screen get?
Maybe a coordinate system similar to Xport's ones?

I'm curious, Nes!
And thanks!

To update, may I just replace the XBE or do I need to
make a clean install (a brand new INI for example)?

Namaste,
C.

You need to replace the default.xbe and the media folder. The fix applies to the TV calibration option not the screen coordinates.

Thanks, maybe this'll fix the problems I had with the calibration since it never seemed to work before. Oh yeah, I got a couple of questions on some other problems I just encountered.

Zsnexbox has recently been freezing on me after playing a couple of games. Its kinda random. The emulator would just freeze when I start to load a new game. Is it a memory running out issue, because I'm using the emulator with 1080i now?

Also, I've been checking out star ocean for a while and after a few minutes into the game, the music would just mess itself up, with weird high pitched instruments, then completely disappear (sound effects still work).

Don't use High res boxart/previews.You are running out of RAM. The Lightgun has allways worked perfect for me. The Star Ocean issue sounds like an emulation issue which is nothing I can do to fix.

Ok, guess I do just that. As for the calibration, I was talking about the TV calibration option since last time, the only thing visible were the black lines which is now fixed. The star ocean thing isn't a big problem though, good thing I still have xsnes saved on my hdd (never thought I would use it again since zsnexbox has pretty much everything I want in an emulator (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) ).

I wonder if the Star Ocean thing has to do with the translation patch you are using. Have you tried any different versions? I know Dragon Quest 1+2 would sometimes stop playing the music in the older core (ZsnexBox 1.0-1.2) You might be able to play it using one of those cores (i.e ZsnexBox 1.2) since I changed the ZSNES core after that.
