Emulators/homebrew Ports In Hd?
« on: March 07, 2007, 02:23:00 PM »

I've just purchased an HDTV and am interested in what homebrew/ports/emulators are available that run in a HD (widescreen supported preferably) mode?  I know the latest FBA-XXX Pro does, and I believe I've read before that ZSNEXBOX does.  I looked around for a list but was unable to locate anything useful.

Almost all of the popular emulators are HD-compatible now.  Off the top of my head (sorry I don't have my XBox here with me), NES, SNES, Genesis, GB, Lynx, SMS/GG, Atari 2600, Atari 7800, Atari 400/800/5200, MAME, TG16/PCE.  Just check the list of the best emulators to use to get the proper emu.  The only one I can't get to work is the Apple II emulator.  While the menu system works in HD, the games will not display.

Chris

EDIT:  As far as homebrew games go, the only one I play is Doom, and it is also HD compatible.
