Zsnexbox 3.0 Final
« Reply #15 on: February 27, 2007, 09:35:00 AM »

I hereby wish to take the time to congratulate nes6502 for his amazing creation that is Zsnexbox,
nes6502 listened to our idea's, and implemented almost all of them, we asked for a cheat searcher
and he gave us one, he did not object and shun it off like someone else would have done.
No he gave us one, and he listened to our idea's on how to improve its user friendliness.
and it didn't stop there, nes would continue to participate in idea threads, even explaining what
was possible and what was not,

Thats how i will remember nes6502, not just as a coder who listened to his user base,
but as a person who enjoyed this scene, many a time i would be writing down a big reply
to a question being asked here, only to find out after posting it that nes just beat me to it with an even bigger reply!

Not only is he an amazing coder who did what many said could not be done,
but he did it with class and respect towards his user base.

nes6502 I thank you for everything you have contributed towards the Xbox emulation scene
and i hope you will not leave this forum, for not only are you a valued member here,
you are also a genuinely nice guy.

furthermore I wish to use the remainder of this post to thank everybody who has made and is making Skins for Zsnexbox,
and all the people who are figuring out rumble codes, and all the people making box-scans and screen shots and everything else!

I also wish to thank all the other coders and people here who helped make this an amazing scene,
many a time i have visited other forums only to read (damn the xbox looks like a good investment with its emu's and apps)
and its all because of you guys (and girls) you made this a good place to be and thats how i feel every time i turn on my xbox.

Long live Zsnexbox!

I agree you with VampX. I never understood why some developers would shun our ideas whenever we'd ask for a feature request or suggestion; it's like they'd be developing the apps/emu's for theirself, as long as they get some enjoyment out of it, but not nes6502 who has the heart of a solider, and the courage of a lion. I asked for a cheat search function, and I got it (I asked some other developer time and time again for this, but they ignored me  blink.gif  ). We're gonna miss you man.. Hope you'll stick around to help and give your input where it's needed.  pop.gif

OK, I can't think of all the emu coders who listens or take suggestions, but here's a few I can think of who does.
nes6502
XPort
& U
GogoAckman

I think you can generalize those who thinks about themselves

Spectacular job. Your updates were the entire reason I continued to check up on these forums. I'll likely be moving on, but I'm very happy you stuck with it and ended your work on such a strong version. I wish you luck in all future endeavors.

I think that's quite rude. Xport had a hand in shaping this emulator to what it's become, so to say something like that is rude in my opinion.

I said Xport is

Maybe you misread that or something because you act like I don't appreciate the dozen emu's Xport has ported to the xbox. Xport *IS* on another level of appreciation for all that he brought to the scene. nes6502 is appreciated for the ZSNES port that truly is the best SNES experience anywhere.
Quite a difference there. And again...

Nes, thank you so much for your contributions to the scene. I've been following this since the beginning and I'm sorry to see this project come to an end, but you've earned a well-deserved break. Again, I thank you. Hope you stick around the forum. Take it easy, man.  smile.gif

Xport never touched anything Snes related, most likely you are using Xsnes9X which was created by Lantus.
