Great update!

Is there any more in depth documentation for FBAxxx? For example, the 2 68k cores, what's the difference? The musashi seems to be faster, but I have no idea what effect it could be having.

LA!

Also, a full supported game list would be cool, I especially wanna know what Psikyo games are supported.
(I don't have a working PC and installing a ROM manager to play with DATs wouldn't be a good idea in an internet cafe)

I'm very impressed though, I was playing Samurai Showdown 4 and Last Blade 2 with max sound settings, filtering and it was still running at 60fps constantly (although musashi seemed smoother, but both cores ran at 60fps  wink.gif )

ThanX dudes.

It's been tested by me, artik and a tester, works flawlessly, so I don't know what s wrong with your config guys, but I can sware it works.
Your xbox needs to be set on ntsc US mode, and 1080i and 720p must be activated in the dashboard (theorically, you can't even choose this mode if it isn't the case).

Edit :
- yes, the rumble works
- as for the compatibility, generate the dats in the main menu

weren't there 2 different video chipsets for the xbox 1? Could that be the problem? I'm running a 1.3. Anyway, i'm still fiddling with settings trying to get it to work... otherwise great work!

ok, i got it working now. Apparently your ms dash must be set to 16x9, NOT 4x3 or letterbox. Mine was set to 4x3 to match my display. Everything looks awesome now... if only we could make the fonts bigger.

There were 3 video chipsets as far as I know, one one the V1.0 to 1.3, one on the 1.4/1.5 and one on the 1.6 version.
Artik has an 1.0 xbox, I have an 1.4, so I think it is not really a problem with the chipset.
And if the bios is working correctly (does it work with xbmc for example?), there shoud be no problems.

As for the rumble, you just need to transfer the new rumble.ini included to the rumble folder.

I too can confirm that 720p will work in widesceen but not 4:3...but I get some strange screen effects in this mode. The menu for one doesn't list [more] and scroll like in 420p, but just goes off the bottom of the screen. If I resize the screen so it's letterboxed, then it might work, but it still goes past the background and displays over the black letterbox bars.

So I'm just going to stay with 420p I think.

I just loaded this emu via disc and I am still having the little sound cracks.  It seems like static every 30 to 60 seconds.  I have the latest FBAXXXPRO version on my HDD; could this be causing a conflict?

Gogo, thanks so much for your hard work.

No, I don't think it is the case, you can maybe see in t:\ to delete the ini or something, as for the cracks, are you playing in HD mode?
I ve noticed that games are playing at 60.0fps in 720p/1080i instead of 59.94fps, I can't explain why but this missynchronisation seems to create little cracks in sound (I have the problem in 720p but it is perfectly fini in 480i).

Just for the record I also get these sound cracks every 30 to 60 seconds on this FBA version but I don't get them on FBA Pro. Didn't mention it before because no one else reported this problem so I thought it might have been my console problem or bad ROM dumps I used to test. That's why FBA Pro is always better, if anything else at least you know you're using the best ROM sets available.
