Final Burn Alpha Xxx Progressive Scan
« on: December 11, 2006, 01:17:00 PM »

Hello,
Does anyone know how to enable progressive scan (specifically 480p)? There was a post a long time ago that I remember reading and I was able to enable it, but since then I have swapped xboxes and it is no longer enabled. Any help would be great  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

It runs in 480p for me even without selecting it.

You need a component cable & 480p mode enabled on your MS dash. Then the 480p mode is selectable from the FBA-xxx options menu => video modes.

Hmmm.....Everything else is running fine for me in 480p, but for some reason when I start up Final Burn Alpha just makes my screen go jittery and then it goes black. I will try selecting progressive scan mode when I can run the xbox in a lower resolution to see what I am doing.
Also, for some reason I thought that there was a config file somewere in the TDATA or UDATA folders that had to be changed to enable progressive scan...must be thinking of another emulator.
