Zsnexbox In-game Save Problem On Xmbc Reinstall

I was lazy when playing DKC, Zelda, etc, and just used the ROM itself to save my progress, rather than the emulator's save feature.

I just upgraded XBMC, and now none of my saved games are there. I backed everything up before I copied the new XBMC files over, but can't find anything there suggesting where the saves went. I assumed they stayed in the ROM, but now none of my saves are anywhere to be found.

Any ideas if/how I can get those saves back?

save files do not get written into the rom, they are saved externally to E:\   (e:\zsnexbox\ i believe)

so either you renamed your rom so it doesnt match the savegame filename or you deleted the dir that kept the savegame)

did you happen to delete any dirs?
