I'm guessing the difficulty doesn't come from just running the new code on xbox, but from "plugging" nes' custom xbox gui&features he spent many many months working on onto a radically different core backbone.
Exactly. In fact, ths is why I've yet to release a 1.2 with an updated GUI. It will take a lot of elbow grease I just havn't had to offer over the last few months.

Add the correct XY coordinate system
Doubtfull since it serves very little to no purpose. People have allready determined the "correct" SNES display settings for ZsnexBox. You can just use those numbers previously posted.

ditch all bloatware music playing features (that's XBMC job, not an emulator job)
I wasn't even aware XBMC supported those formats in ZsnexBox (NES, Genesis, SNES, SMS, GG, etc...). Everytime I've tried to play an SMC in XBMC, it doesn't do anything. Plus it's there not to be a jukebox, but to provide an alternative to the standard GUI music.

Then I would say that you're done with it and can move to other stuff like *sneeze*hardware*cough*accelerated*burp*psx*fart*emulation*sniff* .... ugh, this cold weather is really nasty
Provide me with a link to an open source PSX emulator that uses hardware for the rendering (i.e. there isn't one).
