What Kind Of Disc To Make A Rom Disc?
« on: September 19, 2006, 06:27:00 PM »

I want to make a rom disc with SNES Roms, and NES Roms, i'm just wondering if there is any kind of special format I need to make it (I plan on using Nero to burn it)

Thanks alot!

Also, has anyone have any issues with FCE Ultra X just locking up and freezing when trying to load up zipped roms?

Whoa,

I strongly suggest to start using MEDNAFENX-NES and ZSNEXBOX
instead of FCE and XSNES9X. They are up to date and have much
more features than any other emulator out there.

For both you can just burn a ordinary DVD with files
on your NERO, but I do recommend to create a xISO
compatible DVD (the file format of XBOX).

Put your roms in a folder, open the Qwix tool software,
select "Create ISO", locate your roms, and tah-dah,
you will have a 100% compatible XBOX disc image.

Burn it using DVD-Decrypter, and tah-dah again!
You have a Xbox ROM Disc.

However, you PC drive will not read it...

Cheers,
Lindomir.

For ZsnexBox, you'll need to make an XISO or won't see the ROMS. So, if you make an XISO format first, then burn , it will be recognized in both Mednafen and ZsnexBox.
