Wonderful work as always nes (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
A simple google search came up with this about snes resolution:
QUOTE
Resolution: between 256×224 and 512×448. Most games used common resolutions like 256×224, 256×240, 512×224 pixels since higher resolutions caused slowdown, flicker, and/or had increased limitations on layers and colors (due to memory bandwidth constraints); the higher resolutions were used for less processor-intensive games, in-game menus, text, and high resolution images.

    * Resolution 512×224 named pseudo high-resolution is sometimes used for color blending between two sprites with dithering technique. For example: Kirby's Dream Land 3 (aka Hoshi no Kirby 3 in Japan).

Also, i might be wrong but iirc you cannot assign turbo to the up or down buttons, any chance of adding that functionality in?

Honestly, I don't know the answer.

Nervermind it, I'm 99% sure that I stand correct and that every other emulator (at least ZSnes and Snes9x) are wrong, yeah I'm that confident biggrin.gif

But I have another easier question, I noticed that ZSnexbox save it's settings into E:\zsnexbox\, this is apparently defined on path.ini with SavePartition=E. What I would like is the change it's location to something of my taste like E:\SAVES\zsnexbox\ but putting that path (or any other) on the path.ini file does nothing, zsnexbox only reads the E, F, or whatever drive letter you put on it and deleting it makes zsnexbox freeze at startup...

So is there a way to change the settings folder location? Like a extra ini setting?
Thanks for the awnsers!

Roms path not working for me.

I've removed the emulator folder and the znexbox saves folder from my box.

Changed my Path.ini to include the rom path : E:\GAMES\snes\Roms\
(this is where I keep xsnes9x)

I've transfered 2.90 + 2.91 update to the xbox (as per usual). into: E:\GAMES\znes

Now it doesn't find the rompath.  In every version I had earlier, it worked.

Very cool, didn't expect this so soon.
The code lists are awesome, and i especially like that you implemented joystick to change previews.

The ROM path works. It works perfect for me no matter what I change it to.

If it doesn't work, then you incorectly edited the path.ini, you did not properly upgrade the 2.9 release with the 2.91 upgrade, your roms do not have file extensions, or the folders do not exist on your Xbox.

When you start ZsnexBox, are you saying there are no roms displayed when you pick: Select Game?
If that's the case, there will be only the "..." displayed. If you click that, it will take you up a directory.

When you do that, does it display all the folders in the "E:\GAMES\snes\" directory?

Do your roms have file extensions?

I'm at work now, I'll have to try it again when I get home.  But I redid everything twice with the same result.

my roms have file extensions and worked with all previous versions (2.7 and earlier).

It displays ..., then if you click that, it goes to the E:\GAMES\znex folder and not the E:\GAMES\snes (for xsnes9x) folder as I've typed in the Path.ini file.

EDIT: Could it have something to do with having removed the zsnexbox folder?

Great job nes6502, now Zsnexbox does just about everything I'd ever want it to do other than multicore and actual light gun support.  Keep up the good work!

it works now...just retyped the path case senstive and added a slash and retransfered.

Could it be that the path case sensitive and do you need a slash at the end of it? Or was it just a fluky thing?

I don't think the path is case snesitive but it might be. However, the slash at the end is mandatory

It does? Without massive flickering?

Hey nes6502 what about my question? I've searched the forum, checked your FAQ and readed the readme.txt and there's no info on how to put zsnexbox settings in a specific folder. How do I do it? Or can I even do it?

There is no support for that.
