ZsnexBox 2.91

What's new:

-Forgot to mention that I have made the Metroid skin the new default. I like it the best. However, you can easily change to the Zelda or Mario skin.

-The ROM path in the Path.ini works again

-Added the ability to move left/right in the GG/AR database to see the text that gets cut off. This is really only for non HD users because HD users can just extend the clipping window to see all the text.

Notes:

-This release is only an upgrade to save people from having to download the whole archive again. You will still need the 2.9 release first.

-As usual, Pilotwings and Super Mario kart (and maybe a few others) savestates will likely crash the Xbox if they were created in a version of ZsnexBox prior to this one. But they will work fine if created in this version. It seems like the Visual Studio compiler creates a very delicate version specific scenario for loading some previous savestates. However, very few games seem to be affected by it. In fact, Im getting tired of typing this at every release, so from here on out, just assume this is the case.

Hope everybody enjoys all the new enhancements. Theres a lot more stuff to come.

Aweome work nes6502. This emulator is amazing!

The selectable gg/ar codes feature works awesome. It saves a lot of time by not having to type the codes in. Thanks for adding the ability to move roms to the garbage folder. I wish all emulators had this feature.

well first off u are awsome for makeing such a super snes emu, but i still cant get my roms to show up, its not that big of deal ill just go back to the older version but i just thought id say, my rom dir is f:/snes roms if that helps any. thanx and keep up the awsome work.

Use back slashes... you may also want to try a back slash at the end too: F:\snes roms\

Interesting. Well, I've just installed it myself. I'll go check to see if mine work.

[edit] Well, it works just fine for me. Maybe try changing your ROM path to something that doesn't have a space in it? I'm not sure what else it could be.

When checking out this version I noticed that Actraiser 2 doesn't work? Is that a known issue with this emulator?

Not sure if it helps. but this is how ive arranged my setup:
f:\emulators\Zsnexbox\roms
In my rompath.ini it still stands rompath: d:\roms or something like that.. I didnt change it, maybe thats because i didnt delete my old Zsnexbos saves, try that, delete your old Zsnexbos settings, dont remember where that file is, but you will find it...

Change it to;

F:\snes roms\

Capitalization matters I think. Is there an "snes roms" folder on the F drive and not a SNES Roms or SNES roms or SNES ROMS etc....

Chnging the path works fine for me.

If you mean freezes when entering stage 1, then yes. However you can get around this by loading the PAL version, entering stage one, making a savestate, exiting, renaming the savestate to match the NTSC name, loading the NTSC version, and loading that pal savestate.

RomPath.ini is no longer used. Path.ini is what's loaded now. So you would set the rom path in Path.ini to:

f:\emulators\Zsnexbox\roms\

You shouldn't have to delete anything when installing the newest version.

hi, firstly got to say, amazing emulator (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

only thing is, since upgrading to 2.9 and then 2.91, my rom list seems a lot smaller. games which I know are there, like every street fighter (turbo, championship etc) are not there anymore. I have ftp'ed to my xbox to make sure they are all still in the dir and they are. I have around 800 roms in the folder, yet only about 200 are showing up in the rom list.

is there anything I can do to solve this? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)
