-The black button deletes games from the ROM browser

Is this toggable to on/off? I threw the entire GoodSNES set onto my box, and I don't want someone to start randomly deleting games. I know it goes into a \garbage folder, but I don't want the hassle of moving them everytime someone uses my system.

Otherwise, this update sounds great. I'll be sure to throw it onto my box after work. It's easily my favorite emulator on the Xbox of all time, mostly just because of the accuracy of the system I grew up with most during my childhood.

Edit: Is it possible to have the screen stretched the entire distance without setting anything, similar to XPorts emulators? The only part I like about his stuff is that the screen is stretched the entire distance, and doesn't look too bad, and I can't seem to do the same with the manual stretching your emulator provides. If there's a X/Y value where it does stretch the entire screen the same way, that would be great.

Nes I'm having problems getting my roms to show up, or rather setting the rompath in the path.ini doesn't work for me. Would be nice if in a later release this possibility could be added to the gui. and if you could give me a pointer on how to get it to work now.

Thanks for all the hard work

There is no toggle, but it does ask you "Are you sure you wish to delete this file?"

Did you read the FAQ in the help menu? What are you typing as the rom path?

Awesome release!  Thanks for finally adding the favorites menu, along with all the other great additions!  This will definately be my main SNES emulator now.

Have you ever used one of XPort's emulators? If you have, you'd notice that the screen is stretched perfectly -- it's overscanned for most TVs, but it looks great. I'm just asking for a setting that is like completely stretched without it having a windowed look, or a screwy ratio.

Have you resized/moved the screen?  Emulator Options->Video Options->Adjust screen

As far as I know, all emulators on the Xbox render to a texture. Nearly all give you the ability to stretch/move the texture to fill the screen.

ZsnexBox does as well. In fact you can make it perfectly centered at the original SNES aspect ratio (using the Blue and Red boxes) or you can stretch it to fill your screen.

So again, I don't understand what you mean as you can move/resize/stretch the image all you want as is.

Can you be specific as to what exactly is wrong visually with the image when stretched to fill the TV screen (other than the numbers displayed because they are incorrect)?

Smooth.

Zsnexbox is the best!

But, I'm really missing a small feature which is driving me crazy. That is the ability to specify the configs-save directory, like the other emus has: "E:/SAVES/emu", Zsnexbox makes its own directory on E:\, "E:\ZsnexBox\..". That can be a bit annoying.

stuff

I've tried resizing it, I just don't feel happy with any size I choose. That's why I'm just asking if there's a way to stretch the screen without even thinking. Like I said, XPort has his emulators set to stretch the entire screen (I think for a VGA monitor) so that you can play on any TV and not get any underscan.

I'm sorry if I'm confusing you. huh.gif
