Destruction Derby Freeze

Hello again O' mighty ones,
           Hopefully a easy answerable question for you all. I've loaded my DD but it always freezes right after a race or derby. I am running it in HLE and I have old frameskip & framelimit ON with everything else OFF. Is there something I am missing?

Also if you SAVE SLATE on any games or emulator, how do you clear or erase it later on.

I'll asume you are running the psx version since you failed to mention which emulator you are using.

so.. tried running it in bios mode yet?

Sorry vampx,
           Yes I am running the psx v.13. Here is the weird thing. If I have (AUTO LOAD MOST RECENT SAVE STATE? YES) it starts but nothing works. I can exit out of it but that's about it. But if I run it under (SAVE STATE? NO) it will run fine til the end of the race or derby and then it freezes completely. Also I tried running it under BIOS but it never gets off blood fountain LOADING screen.

I hope that helps.

but have you tried running it in bios mode yet?

get the ps1 bios and dump it in /bios/ or whatever the dir is called,
much more likely to work then HLE mode.

He said he tried in the last part of his post... it hangs at the loading screen (the emulator loading screen with the fountain from SotN).
