I just got my emulators up on the xbox and after getting a few of my old standbys like megamanx, sonic 2, contra, ect., I'm looking for a few suggestions on games I may have missed out on..... What are some of your favorites?

I started my computer-life with PC's so I don't have hands-on experience with early Game-'console' games.
The one's I like to play on my Xbox are:

Nintendo 64:
- Super Smash Bros.
- Super Mario Kart 64
- Mario Party Series
- and some more..

SNES
- Super Mario series

Commodore64
- Space Taxi
- Buggy Boy
- Giana Sisters
- Mission Impossible

ScummVM
- Day of the Tentacle
- Full Throttle
- Freddi Fish Series
- Monkey Island Series

SEGA
- Sonic Series
- some more...

MSX
- King's Valley
- Time Pilot

That's all I can think of at the moment, but there are more games I like to play sometimes..
Depends on my mood actually.

as far as i can remember, ki gold didn't play all that great for me on any of the surreals.

Final Fantasy VI, Final Fantasy VI, Secret of Mana, Shadowrun, Chrono Trigger, Dragon Quest V, Dragon Quest VI, Terranigma, Illusion of Gaia, Soulblazer, Actraiser, Lufia I & 2, Ys III, Zelda III, Castlevania IV, Legend of the Mystical Ninja, Valis I & III, El Viento, Warsong, Alysia Dragoon, Gunstar Heroes, Castlevania Bloodlines, Phantasy Star II-IV, Landstalker, Shining Force, Shinobi III, Herzog Zwei.

Those are just a few SNES and Genesis ones off the top of my (caffeine deprived) head. I'm sure I'm missing more than a few gems that I can't think of right now.

Garou: Mark of the Wolves (NeoGeo/FBAxxx) - Best fighter ever, IMO
Track & Field (Arcade/MAME) - Amazing 4-player
The Settlers (Amiga/WinUAEX) - One of the best god games ever made, especially multiplayer
Dodonpachi (Arcade/MAME/FBAxxx) - Incredible vertical shooter
Battle Garegga (Arcade/MAME/FBAxxx) - Another incredible vertical shooter
Metal Gear 2 English hack (MSX) - Groundbreaking for its time and still great now
Ys Books I & II (PC Engine CD/Mednafenx) - One of the finest examples of the action-RPG genre

aww man, shadowrun for the snes was the shit!

I was 12 when that first came out. That game has some of the best music tracks for an snes game. Granted there's not that much, but they're very memorable. My favorite tune is when your having a conversation with someone. So sleek!

Man...Does Chrono Trigger really play well...I have my softmod xbox on its way and thats like the main game i wanted!!!!

Pretty much all snes games work perfectly on either xsnes or zsnexbox (my favourite)
