Chameleon Feature "flash Tsop"
« on: June 06, 2003, 03:28:00 PM »

in the features list of the chameleon is mentioned :

"possible to flash TSOP easily (only on v1.0 xbox so far)"

I´ve got my chameleon and the tsop on my 1.0 board is "destroyed" by an unsuccessful flash attemped a long time ago....

Now I want to repair this by using this "feature", but it was impossible to find any informations how to do it with the chameleon ?!

I only want to invest time in soldering the chameleon on my board (currently a LPC is installed) if I also could repair my tsop...or I would leave the box as it is (with the lpc on board)

any ideas how tio use the "feature" which was announced ?

yeh, there are so many tutorials on what to do - how to use and how to fix the chameleon and get it working well - not hard just click the search button at the top of this page, it searches all the pages for posts about the thing you type in the search box

OK, I have the file.  I just needed to know if I had to solder the jumpers or not.  Thanks for the info.

you ALWAYS need to solder the jumpers when trying to flash the tsop. how else would you enable writing to the tsop?

That's what I was thinking, but every post I see says nothing of the sort.  I was beginning to think that the chameleon was a miracle worker or somthing or that sort.
