Zsnexbox Feature Request Thread

Hi Nes, appreciate all the hard work you have done to port my favorite Emulator, ZSNES. Would there be any chance that ISO 9660 compatibility and JMA compression would be added? XSNES9X can read CD/DVD burned normally and is the only reason why I am using it right now. If not then I'll just re-zip my JMA's and re-burn my collection using XISO. Thanks again!

How is that? You can map P1 to port 3 and P2 to port 4. How does that not solve your problem?

The last time I tried it it worked.

Once a game is started, select the option to map P1 + P2 to P3 + P4

Then ports 1 and 3 will control player 1 and ports 2 and 4 will control player 2.

All the gui commands are stilled controlled from port 1.

So just plug your second controller into port 4. leave the first controller in port 1. Start a game and turn the option on. Then you can play 2 player games.

By the way, you have to have player 3 and 4 enabled in the menu as well for any of this to work. They are disabled by default.

Ok, I feel like a total dumbass now.  I tried what you mentioned, and it works!  I've been playing 2 players with no problem.  I don't know what I missed last night, I thought I tried everything.

Thanks for your help, and I hope I didnt waste too much of your time.

It could be possible to add an option to remap snes buttons to right analog stick? It can sound stupid but it will be very usefull for games like super smash tv

I've mentioned it before, and others have as well, but you REALLY need to take full credit for your AWESOME rumble idea and implement it into your next release.  Ever since Xport put it into his NES emu, I've been dieing to try out some Mario Kart and other great SNES games with rumble.  I assume that you'd have to implement the cheat search function first, but maybe could it possibly be done via the GG codes (maybe/maybe not the same idea)?

Other than that, the possibility of multiple screenshots would be nice, as I'm still sitting on the rest of my collection for the HQ pack (backs & cart scans).  I need to start the search again for more sites, but I think I had found everything that was available.

I was wondering if anyone could help make a Pro Action Replay database file. I could really use the help. It wouldn't be hard to make, just time consuming. I don't know if I will make it myself because I want to focus on all the other things I need to add.

However, if someone else was willing to make it, I would be glad to add an Action Replay database as well. I finished the internal game genie database and it works really well. You can pick a code for a game and it will copy it over to the slot(s) (with the description) you select. I could easilly add an Action replay database file if I had one. I found a website that has all the codes:

This is the gamegenie database file, that someone could use as a reference to the format I need the AR file to be in. Also, if people have any more codes not in this list (not all the codes work) they can post them as well.

And can you remove the blank lines between codes and the tabs between the code and the description (like in the gamegenie.txt)?  Thanks

its like game genie codes but for super wild card.
Dont know if it's supported in pc version of zsnes?

I'm really not sure about this, but i think i remember seeing a PARtoGG code converter. Are they interchangeable?
