Thanks for your work philo, i caught the links for U-V-R before, and they are already integrated in the list.

Hopefully you read this in time, i've already completed "T"

Now every letter is done but "S", nes6502 : i'm gonna hold off doing it until you post, in the case you started it, but if you'd rather work on coding the emu than copy/pasting text, it's no problem gimme the signal and i'll do it.

Another question, there's a handful of codes for japanese-only games in the list. Would you rather i leave these in the list as-is, or move them separately when i go over it all to correct names / formatting ?

Jus a bit of info : whitout S, wich is the biggest letter, the file weights in at ~400kb, and is over 8000 lines long

I just wanted to lend a hand. But I won't get a chance to do it until much later. That may not help you if you are trying to put something together now. So, if you want to do the S or work around it, it doesn't matter. I probably won't get to it for a couple weeks at the earliest.

I would just leave the Japanese games where they are.

It allready does emulate Super Famicom.

Nintendo emulation would be a brand new emulator and Mednafen does this quite well.

Dude the Snes & SFC are pretty much the same machine, how did you come up with this question?

request 1:
Could you replace the 'reset game' option somewhere lower on the list? It's too close to 'load game' and 'save game' now. When quickly loading or saving a game it's risky to accidently choose 'reset'. Would be great if you could change it happy.gif

request 2:
Would be great to be able to choose my own avalaunch-icon. I can't replace the icon right now. I usually put an 'avalaunch_icon.jpg' in an emulator folder, but with ZsnesXbox it doesn't work. I't doesn't override the icon.

Thx for your work, it's my favourite Xbox emulator!

There will be exactly 2 more releases. 2.9 and 3.0 Final. I will be releasing the source with the 3.0 release. Unless there is some "emergency fix" that needs to be done, that will be the last ZsnexBox release (at least by me).

For what it's worth, I haven't much used ZSnexbox (or XSnes9X) as I'm not a big Snes user; like most emulation users I only tend to emulate the systems I owned originally, and I didn't have a Snes (N64 was the first console I owned). However, a friend of mine had a Snes, and I have used ZSnexbox for the games I remember, such as Earthworm Jim and the Mario games, and it seems great. Many thanks for such a great emulator. It's people like you who make me glad that I can't afford a 360  rolleyes.gif

It's been a lot of fun and this has developed into far more than I intended it to be. However, I would like to get back to rl and "maybe" look at porting something else. I have a list of things that I will be adding to the 2.9 and the 3.0 release.

What is "rl"? And if you are open to suggestions about what next to port, then in the absence of a possible N64 emulator (unless there is an N64 emulator left to port, or Project 64  has it's latest source released) then would you consider Alien vs Predator? It's a great game on the PC, and I (and no doubt many people) would love to play it on the XBox.

Anyway, I look forward to seeing your future work on the XBox. And I might give Earthworm Jim 2 a proper go, I've never really played that one  wink.gif

- Option to choose default save state while playing (a button combo might work here as well).
- Option to set the default save state to any one of the 10 states.

These are allready implemeted. The default slot is 0. If you save in a different slot, that slot becomes the default.

Here it is, the cheat codes file, weighting at almost 500kb with over 10,000 lines of text.

http://www.rogepost....nexboxFINAL.txt

Some info i noticed compiling this stuff

The most common "button combo" codes are for some kind of level select menu.
the second is for some kind of sound test, and it seems very often involves the L-R triggers. dunno if this was tradition in the snes era?
also very common are list of passwords to acess all the levels in games whitout a battery

(thanks to TMM, Philo, and CoolGamer30 btw)

- A global and per game setting for video filters/screen resolution and/or controller settings (such as auto fire).

Agreed!

This would be fantastic --- I would love to see the screensizes (WxH)
shown on the same way as Xport emulators. This way it is much more
easy to get my tricky configurations for a "near perfect SNES" display
on my CRT television!

Up up!
Don't give up the fight!

Damn you work fast.  You added it even before I requested it. wink.gif

And I don't mean it's going to be in the next release. I mean it's allready in the current release (as of 2.0 I think)
