It is confirmed!  Far East of Eden Zero definitely works!  I put all the graphics packs in the right folders and renamed the rom to match the name and BAMB! it runs.  This is excellent news for snes and rpg fans alike.  Thanks nes6502, you just made a great emulator that much better.

Im having problems getting preview to show up. They will not show up even if I take a screen shot with zsnexbox. When I go to where it stores them E:zsnexbox\pre it shows the screen shot I took but you have to put a . in it to get it to display with xbmc. Even after I change it still no luck im stuck. And I looked in faq. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/uhh.gif)

is it possible to "pre-load" cheats for games? it would be nice to put all the action replay and game genie codes in an ini or something cause it's a pain to input them all with the controller

yeah really. it is maybe the last untranslated gem that remains on the SNES.

It's a shame too, Dejap was working on one before they died, and AFAIK all the script has already been translated, what's left is some hacking and then insertion of the text.

I know darkforce said in his "goodbye" message on the zsnes forums that some other group he trusted was interested in picking the project up eventually. No other news came up after that, but there is hope yet.

I came from Xsnes9X to Zsnexbox 2.6, since 2.7 I have deleted Xsnes9X completely. The way I can play at crisper resolutions (I use 720p @ 16:9) is far superior to X's capabilities, but like many others here I would like to be able to use the d-pad left or right to advance/return to letters or even have sets for favourites etc. (I have 1200+roms and I know there are people who have many more than that)  ohmy.gif
Oh yeah and I love the rewind feature comes in handy at times wink.gif

I'm absolutely thrilled that all my favourites run better than the original counterparts, many thanks for a great emulation pack.  love.gif  love.gif

Thanks for another great release, works perfect.  I'm still hoping for lightgun support as that would be the last feature to outweigh xsnes9x and make many more snes games fully playable.

I have a lightgun and snes9x did work some for it but eventually i just moved to snexbox for all the other features leaving behind lightgun.

I'm holding out for translations of DQ3 Reprise and Megami Tensei 1 + 2, those are the 2 Japanese RPGs I'd love to play in English someday.

Didn't know anyone was working on Megami Tensei 1+2, DQ3R looks very good tho. afaik it's still being worked on (RPGONE right?).
I never played dragon warrior on the NES, so it should be a treat when it comes out.

Yes u can, I have tested alot with his cheat system....how ever you got you files get up look for ZsnexBox file that has cheat, ini, prev, svae, and sram. Go in the cheat file fine the game that you want to put codes in for. chagne the file type from ccs(searched codes), game geni(ggn) or par(por action replay) to ini or text. u should see 1 through 10 and 0s or code u have put in, you can change the 0s code name to what ever you want..... I have not tryed adding and more codes then 10.

Some cheat codes do not word some game I have pmed nes6502 and talked to him about it he is working on it.

Wow!!!

I'm sorry to say that I have only just tried Zsnexbox and I am amazed by it! You could easily give Xport a run for his money as far as quality goes. Xport is a genius for the amount of work he has done for the scene, but judging by Zsexbox you have just as much talent in creating the perfect emulator.

Thank you and thank you again for your hard work!!!!!
