FBA-xxx Pro v1.25
Posted by XanTium | August 9 13:07 EST

+ T + released a new version of FBA-xxx Pro. What's new/fixed:
* All problems with loading games in HDTV video modes should hopefully be fixed.
* Re-fixed Black/White buttons.
* Fixed Beta menu freezing when navigating gamelist.
* Replaced many Neo-Geo drivers with updated versions by iq_132. These contain many fixes and improvements including:
* Several drivers now use less RAM during loading.
* kof2003 is finally using the correct P3 ROM.
* ms5pcb is now working.
* ridhero no longer runs slow in AES mode.
* AES mode fix for cthd2003.
* Protection errors fixed in fatfury2. (Massive thanks to iq for sharing these. :))
* Removed all fully decrypted NG sets. They serve no purpose in an emulator like Pro where all protection routines are fully emulated. They also offer no significant improvements in zip compression or loading time compared with the decrypted C sets.
* Fixed problems with ct2k3sp.
* Restored rbff2 V3 ROM to publically available version for now.
* Removed the unavailable jgokushi set for now.
* Several miscellaneous ROMset updates.
* The following sets have been added: ddsomb ; ms5pcbd
* The following beta sets have been added: naname
* NOTE: The setting to enable/disable beta games has been moved to UI Options --] Menu Setting.

Thanks for the update, dude!

As soon as possible I will update my version, at the moment I am still on the 1.17 version.
And I have a question --- sorry if it was already made, but my searching returned no results...

How do I change the "Exit game" controller mapping?
At the moment I am using a Street Fighter Controller (awesome for emulators)
that do not have the analog sticks!

I want to be able to go the the IN-GAME menu screens using
other kind of mapping, for example - white button, or then
L+R+Start (that actually resets the ROM)

Is there a controller shortcut that can let me do that?
(I am miles away from my Xbox for few days... so this is why I am asking instead
of going there to check the In-Game helps...)

Thanks again!
Cospefogo.

Well,

Finally I have been inspecting all Fba-XXX .INI files, help menus
and all kind of possible button combos on the controller - definetely
there is no way to "EXIT FROM A RUNNING GAME" other than
pressing RIGHT ANALOG STICK.

Can we have this customizable for the next version?
I know it could be a selfish request, but I think that as much
as customizable as possible, as better!

My suggestions for next release:
- Exit (Calling In Game Menus) from a running game using:

1. L + R + START + BACK
2. L + R + START + BLACK or WHITE
3. START + BACK (Just like the MameoX 128)

Thanks guys!
Keep the fighting up!

Try using the X-Arcade controller configuration. X-Arcade sticks don't have depressable analogs either so this setup must use an alternate method of accessing the in-game menu.

It works!
Works perfectly!

While using controller under X-ARCADE mode, just press and hold START and the
press couple times L + R together (without release the start)!
Instead of RESETING the rom, this option calls the MINI-MENU screen!

Awesome!
